I thought we got rid of the Syrian regime. Or did we?

Can someone please clarify ms Gebara's situation because I'm finding it a little difficult to fathom.

Did she breach certain confidentiality agreements, or did she divulge government secrets, or has she made false accusations that may have brought certain government institutions into disrepute.

Can some please tell us whether she is infant a journalist , or a disgruntled former government employee , because something isn't adding up.

Either way, I really hope she gets a fair trial.

I think that’s a great idea. We need to organize and coordinate with the news media, especially OTV to expose what’s going on.
This is a test for the free press in Lebanon to show solidarity and support for the freedom of speech.
I hope this case never dies until justice is served.

We got caught many times before, no one stood up for us, then when we stood up for others, like the Murr **** and his TV, we got thanked by the TV becoming a mouthpiece against us. Its quite wrong to let this pass without action. For them to arrest her without formal charge, and especially that we know her and have come into contact with her. It would be very shameful for us to just ignore this and let it pass and then pretend we want a better country to live in. Heres a chance to make some difference, even a slightest, but its an oportunity nonetheless.

But somehow you are right. As I mentioned earlier, in a country where we have collective Alzheimer, in a country where accountability is just in books, then why the heck should we fight for others....
For J.Gebara, I guess the best would be to give her case a prime spot media attention. This will build a good momentum. SO maybe OTV can make a documentary on this case tonight and then continue following it up on tayyar.org,...
