Joumana Gebara Arrested

Joumana hamdellah 3al salameh, and if you are innocent from whatever charges you were charged with(bcoz it wasn't that clear to the common man), I hope those behind it will pay the price one way or the other.
But do you have any idea why the CIA wants u in jail??????????????? Also, someone quoted a few days ago part of an article you wrote making fun of the concept of resistance and Hezbollah. Is it fake or is that really how you feel?

No actually i agree this time with Joseph_lubnan. Im not saying the Joumana Gebara is wrong, i simply just dont know what the hell the story is about. i tried reading many of the posts, like really many, and i still didnt get a clear picture (actually it's nowhere near clear).

can anybody explain to us, chronologically, what's the story here? why was joumana arrested? etc... etc...?

I don't agree with either of you guys. You question the obvious and do not question what needs to be questioned. What happened to Joumana is something that happens to a lot of people in Lebanon, those who speak their mind. We all know how corrupt the system is in lebanon. I do want to hear what happened from Joumana but not to "formulate an opinion" as joseph_lubnan put it cause he seems to live in lala land for some reason and thinks that lebanon is still the paris of the middle east.

Joumana Gebara came to Lebanon and looked for a decent job at the Ministry of Information.

She did not get paid. She also had a strong opinion and voiced it, accusing some people of corruption.

Those people pulled some strings and got her in jail, but not for long since the charges weren't substantiated.

That is the gist of it, it's happening to others but not necessarily in the same way.

joseph_lubnan makes a lot of sense and I don't think he is trying to "yikhelif tayou3raf", actually quite the contrary one would have to say the opposite to get the attention, bcoz most of us still have no clue what happened. He is just trying to understand like the rest of us what really happened, that's all... and if she doesn't care what we think, then why would she post anything in here in the first place, right?
Or is it just good oll marketing for her upcoming book:)

If a persone hadn't been to jail, I would've laughed and said that this whole thread looks like an X files episode
But as JJebara went to jaiol, I'll refrain from saying that hoping that some day we will all understand
