Guys come on! Not only do half the FPMers hate that guy, and we might lose even more support than during the 4 years that passed, but we might indefinitely look like traitors!
I think whoever is actually supporting that thought is an extremist and a sheep! | Quote:

jamil is no better or worst than most ministers.
regardless of whetehr he will be a good one or not.
that said, i am against him being nominated BECAUSE IT WILL HURT US POLITICALLY.....
so i am sure another person will be nominated if as mentioned before HA gets to name the defense minister.
personally i will accept 1000 jamil RATHER THAN A THEIF AND SCUMBAG wahhabi ******* such as sanyoura. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

I know so many people who worked with him and didn't come back in bags!! As a chief, he punishes when punishment should be and vice-versa. As a Syrian puppet, I don't even support him!
It's my last post concerning this issue!! But we should stop EMPHASIZING, EXAGERATING... and PHILOSOPHIZING (if it exists) things in order to go further!! | | | | | Registered Member

I find it more shocking to see Jumblatt - for instance, everybody knows how much I like this guy - still leading a huge parliamentary block, appointing ministers, getting popular support, than Sayyed who is to Lebanon, what Bousquet was to the Vichy Regime, being considered as a minister.
That the Lebanon the people voted for some weeks ago. That's the bda3a they'll get in return.
Haven't we heard people asking FPM to comply with the people's will ? Here you go. FPM should support Sayyed (no, here I'm kidding).
But we said numerous times. People decided their future on June. No nagging now. Enjoy. | | | | | Registered Member

Some just hate Jamil El Sayyed because he was at some time, on the opposite political side, and he executed at some time, the orders of his superiors, while they don't see a problem in having those same superiors rule the country. What the Hell...Some even voted for those superiors.
Others talk as if we were today in the course of forming a Swiss or a Norwegian government, with the highest democratic ISO standard, and then Jamil El Sayyed would spoil everything for us.
Others just can't get out of past hates and differences, yet still insist on mixing politics with idealism.
Some are even inventing crimes and putting them on his account, while the man himself never heard about...Some are even comparing him to Hitler and Mussolini...Ufff
Ok, then I have a scoop for you: More then half of your next government will be constituted of thieves, criminals, traitors and mass murderers...And through them,we will be facing a big international grip on our Country, that might lead to its disintegration...Not to mention that a deadly war against Lebanon is in the making, right now, and we are in deep need to build a strong and reliable Army for that.
And this man has the knowledge and the capabilities to help us immunize Lebanon from future hazards, and protect it against all the traitors and war criminals plotting against us, but you still can't get over the fact that at some point, he was on the opposite political side.

as bad as jamil is, he never killed people.
but sa3doun , wello, sg , sousou,fatfat,bahia,bouzahra, etc.....are known murderers and genociders.
and you have the guts to argue against jamil
why not waste your energy on trying to defeat the terrorists that you so much defend and choose to ignore their acts.

But let me tell you one more thing: I can better see Jamil Sayyed in Defense than an LFer in Justice... and we accepted it!! Labnéno w 3ayyno!! 3a ellit lli labnannéhoun!! | Funny, because you are playing the typical game of Lebanese politics: you always make comparisons!
If we tell you Syrian, you say it's better than Israeli, if we tell you Iranian, you tell us it's better than American, if we tell you Sayyed, you tell us it's better than LF, if we tell you Berri, you tell us it's better than Hariri...
For once think for yourselves instead of in comparison! Do you think Sayyed or LF is the only choice we have in this country? Out of 4 million candidates, I bet I can find a couple of dozens who would be more suitable in this forum alone!
Kakou, you remind me of my mother. When I tell her Muslims are discriminated against in Belgium, she answers me the same way you do: "why? you think it's better in KSA?" Quote:

So instead of finding the most suitable, we find the lesser of two evils! | | | | | | |
