Jamil El Sayyed is one of the few officers who is effectively capable of modernizing the Army, and bring it forward to the 21st century.

The likes of Baroud and Murr are just for decor purposes.

Great, let's play this game:

Let's see who was president of the republic:

Lahoud
Hrawi
Gemayel

Sleiman is better than these guys, but still he's no good president.

There are other people in this country that could take up this position and do an excellent job.

Ma fhemet, there are no good shiite candidates to take a ministerial position anymore ?

As for Sayyed hurting the FPM politically, shall I remind you that he also hurt you and the rest FPM's supporters physically ?

May I also remind you that he hurt Lebanon politically and physically ?

You're gonna tell me that Hariri, Joumbatt, Geagea and stuff aren't better.
I agree with you.

But if we couldn't stop these guys from being decision makers, at least we could stop Sayyed

Seems like you didn't visit any prison when he had a powerful position.

It also seems like you didn't get an AK on your head because you opposed Syria in Lebanon.

It seems that you received a good one on your head, in your imagination, yet it still affected you.

I'll let the rest of the FPMers who also spent some time in lebanese and syrian prisons answer you that......

Ok, let me ease it out for you:

Hitler was a great manager and a great leader. He got Germany to heights noone could ever dream of, but I would never EVER put him in a position of power.

Pol pot was also a great leader and was very smart, yet, like Hitler I wouldn't want him in a position of power.

Same with Pinochet, Staline, Saddam, etc.

You know what these people have in common ?

2 things:
1) Great leaders and managers
2) Ruthless corrupt people who hurt their countrymen more than anyone.

How can you trust a person who is ready to kill for personal benefit ?
How can you trust a person who will BOW to FOREIGN POWERS for personal benefit ?

Syria is out, ok. BUT what you seem to forget is that whenever there will be some pressure on the guy, he will cave and go back to shining boots like he did before.
And all his past actions actually support that......

Should I ask the same question I did twice before or you're getting my point now ?

the guy jumblat accused on may 5th 2008 is wafi2 ch2eir not jezzini!

I will ease it to you!! Behayda l balad mech 3am témché ddimoqratiyyé....

Ba3dén:
About Jamil Sayyed, wAllah, he will not be chosen... but in case!!

Considering that each one who hurts his countrymen should be condemned, you won't find ANY LEADER TO RULE US!!
Besides, wAllah, wa7yét Allah, my 3 kids and my husband... ad my parents if you want, I am against Jamil Sayyed in politics, but I am pretty sure and 300% that this man (couldn't find any other word to please you) can make miracles in any institute he rules!!
He may had used the GS to hurt young people, but we all know that it was for political reasons... but away from that atmosphere, as a director ONLY and not as a PUPPET (if you want), he is excellent!! Just compare the GS before and GS now!!

ya 3ammé, can't I make myself clear, or you don't want to get my point???
