Such a man is the definition of corruption.
The guy got his position not because he was good, but because he was the best syrian boot shiner available.
Yes, he did improve parts of the SG, but on the other hand, he turned it into a syrian institution.
He turned it into a syrian propaganda machine.
He used his position to turn against people opposing syria. You, me, the FPM and anyone who opposed him.
Yes, Syria is out, but his actions were never justified and never will be. The guy's place in jail for all his corrupt past. He's the one who signed the jail and death sentence of many, and now you want him to take over a governmental position ???
Isn't there any shame left in people these days ? |
I repeat...
1- He won't be named.
2- I wish he is even if I am AGAINST him...
You are all talking about him based on what are medias telling and what he did during the Syrian occupation. But I am talking about his abilities. I know verry well and from so NEAR that he deserves ANY leadership AWAY FROM POLITICS AND AFFILIATIONS... He knows how to lead, how to organize... I have details but it's not really the appropriate thread to discuss them!!
And believe me, among ALL OF THOSE LEADERS who collaborated with the Syrians, I prefer him!! What about all of the OTHER "Sainte-n'y-touche"!!

As much as the case of the four generals was a political case, these people should just stay away. But knowing Lebanese mentality and attitudes, they will be honored and given pardon with no questioning. |
I wanted to tell The Jade the same thing in a different way!

Nominating Sayyed is out of the question...ya Khayyé I was thrilled to know that the minister of defense will be someone close to HA, why not nominate a HA veteran? somebody who knows what he's doing and knows the enemy? |
Believe me, he can do more than you can ever think or believe!!

I am so so so so sorry for your brother Lebanesegirl... I may be hating Jamil Sayyed more than you are... but my Love for Lebanon comes BEFORE my hate or my REVENGE against any person!! If I can I would condemn every single act of Sayyed, but if he
leads his minstery as an institute just like he led, and I repeat away from politics, the General Security, we will all be more than satisfied!!

And those who couldn't name a candidate are the winners!! GHARIB!!
One more thing, when it comes to a country, PERSONAL ACCOUNTS shoud be put away!!
