Jamil Sayyed as Minister of Defense?

Jamil El Sayyed as minister of defense means that the LA will be reformed,trained,organized, modernized,equipped and armed. And that the Israeli spies networks will keep being destroyed.

For a status quo of the current situation,or an eventual reverse mode concerning the spies networks...A Murr or a Baroud will be best suitable.

People, stop being Lebanese now (i.e. with short memories). Jamil Sayyid is the DEVIL. While we acknowledge Jumblat, Hariri, Berri, and all other collaborationists' role under the Syrian hegemony, we should not be mistaken that this guy was the mastermind of the orchestra during that period with all his dirty tricks, games, and lot of covered stories i believe. As much as the case of the four generals was a political case, these people should just stay away. But knowing Lebanese mentality and attitudes, they will be honored and given pardon with no questioning.

yeah, you got a point there, but I'll take what u said with a grain of salt

Nominating Sayyed is out of the question...ya Khayyé I was thrilled to know that the minister of defense will be someone close to HA, why not nominate a HA veteran? somebody who knows what he's doing and knows the enemy?

لا أعتقد أن جميل السيد سيكون وزيرا للدفاع ولا لغيرها من الوزارات في هذه الحكومة ، وحتى إن طلبوا من السيد أن يكون وزيرا فهو يريد وزارة العدل وهذا الكلام قاله هو بنفسه عقب إطلاقه في برنامج حديث الساعة على المنار مع عماد مرمل حين سأله في حالة فوز المعارضة وطلبوا منه أن يكون وزيرا فأي وزارة يريد ، أجاب حينها إن طلبت المعارضة منه ذلك فهو يريد وزارة العدل ، وأي كلام عن جميل السيد وزيرا ماهي إلا بالون من البالونات الكثيرة التي تطلق عشية كل تأليف عن توزير فلان وعلان
وزارة الدفاع الآن هي في لعبة قضم للإصابع بين حزب الله وأمريكا ، امريكا تريد بقاء الوزارة عند تابعها إلياس المر ، وحزب الله يريد لا يريد أن يبقى أمثال المر في هذه الوزارة الحساسة تحسبا لأي مفاجآت في القادم من الأيام وهو محق في ذلك وأنا مع الحزب في تشبثه وحصوله على هذه الوزارة في حالة مشاركة المعارضة في هذه الحكومة
رأيي الشخصي أفضل أمين حطيط كوزير للدفاع ، كما ان جميل السيد هو أفضل مليون مرة من المسمى إلياس المر
