Ana i think that Gebran Bassil is an Israeli spy, and try to pin it on the PSP leadership in order to avoid all suspicion...

every now and then we hear stories and scandals like this one in Lebanon, but interestingly enough we never hear a name associated with this!

It's always "someone in power" "someone well known" "current MP" "ex-MP"..... and at the end we always forget about it and no one ends up in jail... and the same systems reappear and go back to business.

Why do we even bother to open investigations and so on if these actions always stop at dismantling the system and never go a extra step to arresting and accusing someone?

In this particular case, i'm pretty sure the investigators and the minister in charge (Bassil) do know who is this mysterious "person in power" behind this network, so i dare Bassil (him, because he's the minister) to openly bring forward legal accusations.

And you realy beleive that internet communaction via satellite and/or underwater cable is not beiig spied at ? By the NSA and israel ?
So what is the difference between internet via israel and the other method? None
if we can get cheaper internet thru israel, why not ?
Ta na3mel nkeyet bel cabbinet, min chikh bi tiebna ?
five years ago, Israeli companies (like ipplanet) had a near monopoly in serving internet to most of Africa via satellite
the were 50% cheaper than the competition
We were buying from them
Does this make me a 3ameel ?
Should i be careful in planning my next trip to lebanon ?

I wonder how you would feel about it, if your house was completely destoyed by Israeli bombs, or your child exploded in a cluster bomb, left there on purpose by the millions to kill children.

Yes buy Internet, and what else ... anything cheaper from israel .. give them more power to buy more weapons ..

any shame ?

None whatsoever.
It was our fault.

French could say the same about germans
Greek can say the same about the turks
We can also say the same about syrian
I have relatives killed by the syrians, is it a reason to refuse to trade with them forever ?
wont that be economical suicide ?

BTW, My position is that is was the lebaneese fault for letting the palestinaians attack israel since the late 60s
before that, everybody was living happily and in peace
We got what we deserved
we destroyed our country
that goes for shiaa, sunnis, christians, druze, jews, ...
we destroyed our country, and we deserved what we got
we dont even want to get out of this

yes the lebanese are responsible for lots and most of their problems. not all though !!

The french did resist when the nazis were still occupying ..
and same with the greek or anyone else

we are still at war with Israel .. and no it wasnt our fault read some history. and some land is still occupied and our territory still attacked ..

when they treat human lifes as equal as theirs, when they stop saying this land was promised by a holly book, then maybe ...

think about it

You are still at war with israel because we seems to be some kind of mazo
Israel is dying to sign peace with us, and is ready to give back your beloved empty shebaa
We are the hypocrite who wants everything back, but without signing a peace treaty
cut the BS
You dont want peace
you want to fight israel because of .... fill in the blank (iran, syria, golan, palestine, jerusalem...)
all of the above are not lebaneese pb
would you accept to end war and sign peace if israel accept all the lebaneese issues (chebaa, kfarshouba, and the remaining lebaneese prisoners) ?
I'm sure israel will accept
your the one who wants war, not israel
so stop whining if a house is destroyed or civilians are killed

yup, not only the promised land
they call themselve "God chosen people", which is very racist in my book.
however, doesnt the muslims want jerusalem forthe same "religious" reasons?
But that is not a reason for war.
I think we should put lebaneese interests, and lebanon economy above all, even if it include buying internet from israel. It is time to look at our priorities HongKong or Hanoi?
when you accept to think only about pure lebaneese interest, the pb will be over?
