I'm rooting for the rightists (fascists) to win this election. They'll move the process of destroying Israel along far faster than "peace-makers" in the Israeli government will.

Israel's electoral system is based on strict proportionality. However, since the minimum percentage of votes required is 2%, there are some some disproportionalities, since almost 5% of the votes were lost in the process. (in Belgium, one needs 5% of the votes, in Lebanon or the US, you need 51%)

So, Right coalition:
- Likoud - 27 seats (21%)
- Yisrael Beitenou - 15 (12%)
- Shas - 11 (9%)
- UTJ - 5 (4%)
- Jewish Home - 3 (3%)
- National Union - 4 (3%)
TOTAL: 65 seats (52%)

Center-Left:
- Kadima - 28 (23%)
- Labor Party - 13 (10%)
- Meretz - 3 (3%)
- Hadash - 4 (4%)
- Ta'al - 4 (4%)
- Balad - 3 (3%)
TOTAL: 55 seats (46%)

Shas and UTJ will become king-maker, but also, the Center-Left will need both them and the arabs (Ta'al and Balad) and communists (Hadash) to win!

To us it won't make a difference who won, but to the palestinians, it would change everything..... Things are still a bit ambiguous however...

Between ex-Likoudists (Kadima) and actual Likoudists (likoud),I see no difference, but only the same group of extreme hardliners on external policy, coming soon into power. And either of those 2 groups will need to form an alliance with even more extreme than them,to get to the chair.

I'd better prepare my gun anyway...errr...Actually it's already locked and loaded.

Better this way.Nothing else matters.

I doubt it makes difference to Palestinians either.

Well, may be how much Hamas can get away with before Israel will decide to hit back.

Do you knowingly make horrifically stupid statements to provoke heated responses?
