i dont get it, are u saying that if the tribunal finds a couple of syrian officials implicated in the murder that it means that the tribunal is taking it easy and looking for a political settlement out of court?

I think Dry Ice is saying that there will be some type of a "compromise" on the issue, laflafeh ye3ni.
While we both, Dry Ice and I, think of a similar outcome for the tribunal, we might differ a little on whether it's a "compromise" or not.
I have posted several times here (since 2005) what my personal feelings about who the sides involved in Hariri's assassination might be... I have said it could very well be the Syrian intelligence but I doubt a lot it was done on the orders of Bashar Assad or with his prior knowledge (subsequent knowledge, definitely, but not prior). I have my reasons to say that.
