Whoever win the majority should choose whomever they see fit, popularity shouldnt be taken into consideration. That goes for the President, speaker and PM. But unfortunately this might not be the case

With this mentality, we are going to raise a big problem in Lebanon.

You refused Sleiman to be president because he didn't represent the christians and I totally agree, so why do you want to apply that to others? []

In the same logic, why GMA didn't say NO for Berre? because he is waiting for Shea decision.

Even if possible he wouldn't agree. he refused many positions before while Berri and Jumblatt were accepting all.

Why would you put 3 names from feb.14 if the mo3arda wins???????? I don't want to hear about " leader of the sunni" excuse, they should have thought about that when they elected the prisdent.

Anyways, Osama Saad all the way. This man is proving to me that he is more Lebanese that alot of people in this country. He seems to people for the people. Plus, by him being the PM , it will the beginning of the end for the Hariri family.

Anyway, to know who is the future PM, look at Berre opinion. He will be baydet el 2ebban and based on my observation, Berre and Hezballa will not select a PM unaccepted by Harere family, due to Sunna/Shea parasite and days will show that.

I don't know how Saad will be considered as PM if he will not win in Saida? If we want to don't repeat the same mistake happened to the Christians, Saida results should be the basic reference for selecting the PM.

Q: why do you like to hear "leader of the shea", "leader of the Maraunites" but not "leader of the sunni"?

Berri can't do nothing. people give him too much credit. He will do what HA says. The sunni leaders of Tripoli and Bierut are mafia, they remind me of the Maronites leaders of the 70's, and that includes Karame. All they care about is what they won after Ta'ef.

I hope Saad will make it in Siada, and he becomes the next PM.

We can opt to do 4 things:

1- Choose a PM that will ultimately stand for change&reform, but that might not have real political weight, that would mostly mean Rida el Mais, Fouad el Makhzoumi or Layla el Soloh

2- Choose an 8 march PM with some charisma and popularity so he can build on that to create a larger sunni popularity in 8 march and try to reduce Hariri's popularity, for that you have Ossama Saad, Omar Karami, Abdelrahim Mrad, the problem is that they might become jelous of each other

3- Choose a moderate PM who represents the sunni street but it not fully supporting any of the two sides: Najib Mikati, Mohammad Tabbara, Mohammad el Safadi

4- Choose Saad el Hariri or Fouad el Sanioora on the basis that he has the majority of sunni support

IMO the best thing to do is choosing either Mikati or Safadi and building them a larger popularity while making them closer to 8 march, and hopefully in 2013 one of them would become the chief of 8 march's sunni bloc which would contain all the sunni leaders plus a few of his supporters.

Note: I am using the term 8 march and not opposition so they're will be no confusion as to wether I'm talking about the current opposition or the future one.

This Sunna/Shea parasite must be eradicated.
