النائب جنبلاط : اذا ربحت المعارضة الانتخابات سألتزم منزلي بعيدا عن السياسة

As if this is new.
He said similar thing back in 2005 during the Cedar Revolution. He said: once this is over and Syria is out, I will leave politics to this new generation that is doing all this work to get us free from the Syrians.
The Interviewers was surprised and asked him to repeat that so he did and he added: look at them (the new generations) they know what they are doing and they are good at it.( I think it was on LBC);

4 years from now I will be posting something similar to this .
It could be from LBC (if still around) or god knows , could be MTV or the Syrian TV : one thing is sure, it will be Jumblat himself saying it.

in fact: if the opposition wins, he has to shut up and remain silent and go cook some tabbouleh with his wife and bring back taymour from lalaland and go hunting together.

Only difference is that **** didn't hit Hezbollah in the face!

We never said FM doesn't represent the Sunna! FM represent a big minority in Tripoly, Saida, and maybe the Bekaa regions (things aren't too clear there) And the overwhelming majority in Beirut, that gives them 70%+ of the Sunni street, but they shouldn't act like they represent the whole 100%!

The problem with the valentinos and especially FM,is that they are so much into democracy and stuff,that they think that whomever wins the elections,owns the country forever.

They don't know that winning elections only gives you the right to run the country.They think that it gives you a property right,and so they behaved like if all others where trespassers on their property,and like if they were free to take the country into the abyss of their doubtful external alliances and external agendas..

"Beirut Lana' and "Lubnanuna" and other stupid slogans,only reflect their state of mind,and the extent of their ignorance in democracy.

In 2005,I was like many,under the illusion that those people made a strategic decision to go for a real change,and gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I was absolutely fooled,and i still think that going to the M14 March along with such people was a big mistake.

I vote in a district in Beirut where the opposition does not have a big weight,yet one thing is sure,I will go and vote and push everyone to go and vote for the opposition.

I might even present my candidacy if the opposition does not present candidates over there.

Byekfina Zbele W Srameh...Time for the citizen to push for the change,and not just wait for someone else to promise it,or achieve it to him.
