In the past elections, people had 2 choices:
1 - A choice would be to vote for corrupt figures, criminal past, sectarian leaders... but those people are actually not interested in war, would like to have a peaceful open Lebanon with minimally functional and stable state that is not even remotely close to the likes of Ahmadenajad.
2- The other choice would be to vote also for corrupt figures, criminal past (just to remind you who is the opposition: Amal, Arsalan, Franjieh, feudal lord in Zahleh, SSNP, Baath, HA and FPM), but this choice would also include people who report officially to Bashar Assad, include an organization that is made of drug dealers, professional killers and religious fanatics, and it also includes FPM.
People voted against the opposition, there is still 2013.. FPM still has all the elements to win in the next round, maybe you need to be more sectarian...
