ok,i opened this thread and went out, i just came back and found out it went crazy... to those defending hezbollah,u cant defend hezbollah from me I am as much a supporter as hezbollah as u r. I have no idea how this thread shifted into hezbollah stabbing FPM... it has nothing to do with that and i never hinted anything similar. I guess some haters hold grudges that they like to show whenever given a chance....

noone can deny, that when hariri and the syrians were robbing the country, Hezbollah did not participate in any of the corruption going on, BUTTTT they did not fight the corruption, their main goal and concentration was liberating their land, and they did not get involved in the dirt of politics. NOW ITS DIFFERENT. hezbollah now has a big political role, in addition to its role as a resistance, they should aim to FIGHT THE CORRUPTION of the hariri clan, together WITH FPM and not ignore it just cuz the weapons of the resistance r safe. I love hezbollah and Sayed Hassan is my leader, but i see something wrong here and i am asking to have it fixed.U may have a different opinion, we r supposedly in a free country... and i dont think Sayed Hassan takes criticism badly... I understand that the resistance is trying to weigh out the possibilities and choose what is bad over what is VERY bad which is the continuation of the war on its weapons... but i believe the economic situation in lebanon is also a crucial subject, and resistance is both resistance agaisnt occupiers and resistance against corruption.

I dont know how credible our thoughts are since as usual us regular people dont know ****.

But its just a general feeling that somethng couldve been done if they truely wanted to.

HA voted GMA 1000%, didnt backstab him.

But, just like FM brings the money and international political power to feb 14, HA does for the opposition. So any issue that needs a strong stand for the opposition requires that party to be involved.

WHy did everyone, including GMA to be fair, not raise Zahles issue EXTENSIVELY?

DIdnt they see the numbers of expatriates they were bringing? Didnt they have that information? I mean lebanon isnt that hard to figure out in terms of whats going on for political parties, is it?

So why wasnt there funding to bring equally as many?

Why is everything set and fixed and everyone loves eachother just one second after the election? And is it a coincidence that it comes with OPENLY ANNOUNCED syrian and saudi agreements?

Before regional agreements were applied by syrian intelligence, now theyre applied by na2el noufous and saudi money.

lebanon contain different groups , ideologies and cultures. HA and FPM were able to ally and find mutual ground to start up, for the first time, something real, something healthy, Something that can lead to building up a real country.

HA and FPM are not supposed to become one, it is healthy to have differences and to accept these differences. For the last 4 years both were under heavy attacks from the other group which obliged them to close the eyes on certain differences or mistakes from both sides. May be tayyar should have stood firmer against some issues. May be HA should have taken some basic concerns of the normal people more seriously. these are things to revise for the future.

Even though these differences do exist, the past experience taught us to respect each other and to believe that we can build a country together.
However, we are in a new phase now, we should decide on the next step: Should we try to open up to the other or not? the opening up started after doha agreement; when they understood that they cannot win or eliminate us. Conflicts increased and got bad before the election but we have to go back on track now. What options do we have? We dont have the parliament majority. We have to try to change from inside. This is the only available option at the moment.

We can differentiate in the way to do it, but I don’t believe either party will stab the other in the back. HA should start giving his people results in the inside. Resistance is a way to liberate and defend , it is not the target by itself. A healthy country is the target. This cannot be achieved without our partners in the country. The Partners we do trust and we know we can make a different together are the FPM people. You will see in the forming of the new government that we don’t stab in the back.

We share the same dream... it is called lebanon "

I hope HA/Amal enter the government and FPM stay in the opposition. It will be the best configuration for us (well, not for Lebanon but who cares?) to organise our party and start the offensive campaign.

This will not prevent us to keep very good relations with HA. On the contrary, we won't have this complex anymore.

FM and HA must get their acts together and come to an agreement which includes FPM and LF.

Netanyahu just dropped a bomb on us.

Quote:
Netanyahu called on Palestinian leaders to restart peace negotiations without preconditions. He declared that the solution of the Palestinian refugee problem must be "outside Israel."
Meanwhile, we're still arguing about Murr videos and Kenaan shouting on TV. Nobody is benefiting from this division amongst the Lebanese as much as Israel.

exactly. they dare not even celebrate and do istifzez as they would've previously dared to. let them dare do so & see what will happen. let them dare elect a Speaker of Parliament of their own choice against our wishes & see what will happen, for that matter .

that assumes FM does not want naturalization of Palestinian refugees. How does that work, really ?
