Food for mind, No one is talking anymore about the political weight of Syria in lebanon or in the election of the next President. Why ????
Does anyone beleive that syria would accomodate a neighboring president that is not compatible with their general goals especially in this era. In my opinion, HA is trying his best to ease up the tension between Syria-IRAN and FM in oder to accomodate GMA as next president since the MOU has clearly shown that Arabic politics (KSA,EGYPT,IRAN....) paved the way for GMA to baabda. KSA wants this chapter to be closed as its fearing that any forced president by US-FRANCE will unstabilize Syria and thus the whole area. |
Very good analysis.... I agree with this.
Hizb is playing an important factor not just on the domestic arena... but in the whole middle east.
