Naim,

Don't you think that there is a big possibility that this current parliament will not survive for the remaining term of Lahoud's mandate?

Just a thought! Consider that the so called majority continues to play tough on everyone and insists on ruling (ruining?) the country - don't you think that it s quite easy for HA / FPM to turn the table against everyone to resign from the parliament and ask for a fresh election. So far, I think FPM and HA are still giving the chance for peace and discussion - but how long can they wait on this false majority?

Who is going to be the majority in a new parliament? Who can be the president then?

I think Sayyed HN went to meet with Hariri in order to ask him "inta mine??". But, given that Saad takes his time before he speaks a word, the meeting lasted 7 hours.

But, I agree with you, insecurity is creeping as to the answer of Saad.

I beleive hassan nassralah does not care who the president is as long as he guaranties that the president will not try to disarm him. And that is kind of selfish and far from being a patriotic stand. i am sure they would drop Aoun so quick if they can find an alternative that would protect there existance.

I have to disagree with you on this one....

Just a reminder: HN is not Jumblatt

Well, Mr. Strider, I am really amazed with what you said.

A person who was leading the resistance against the israeli occupiers for more than 10 years, and who participated in that resistance for a number of years also is not patriotic and is considered to be selfish.

A person whose son was killed fighting the occupiers in the South is not patriotic and is a selfish person.

Could you please us provide us with your description of a patriotic person.

Could it be a person that was hiding away from lebanon in paris, KSA, or elsewhere?
Could it be a person that collaborated with all types of occupiers that invaded lebanon?
Could it be someone that managed to build castles and filled his bank accounts with billions of dollars stolen from the lebanese people?
Could it be a person who asked people to go to the Martyr's square and sent his son away to paris?

Please let us know what you have in mind or who might be in ur mind when u talk about a patriotic person?

HN is a man of his word. he will remain on GMA's side until GMA shows him a reason not to (which wont happen). he was burnt by SH and his gang so why would he trust them now and drop the only man that signed a paper of understanding with him?

Dont worry everyone. HN is not WJ or saint Samir. this meeting looks promising to me.

Wrong again. You're assuming that popularity is stable.

Let's try this again. Any isolation of any significant party would mobilize masses in its favor which renders obsolete your tripartite agreement.

In Lebanon, everyone or none.
