I wasn't sure where the article was going. It started with "To Michel Aoun", then went on rambling about the anarchy of living under militias rule of the jungle... I was going, **** those dark days... We should do everything/anything to prevent these days from returning. Then he jumps from one story to say that Sanioura is not a thief because the Syrians don't call him a thief? W *** hadd ****ti... Will thieves call another thief, a thief?

Next time a criminal is in court for serial killing, His lawyer Haidar, will firmly tell the judge that his client is innocent, for the strong argument that when his client was 5 years old, he helped another falling kid and shared his cereals with him lol.

what Haidar and soo many others miss in their genes is the sense of responsability and credibility. When you are the minister of finances and prime minister over 20 years, and the govt is constantly raped by ministers, employees, programs .. YOU as a prime minister is the first responsible for the stealing.

كنت في تلك الفترة اعمل في مؤسسة محلية في بيروت، يقع مبناها في وسط منطقة الحمراء، التي كانت الميليشيات المختلفة تعتبرها «استراتيجية» بسبب كثرة «مواردها» وسهولة جمع «التبرعات» من مؤسساتها. وذات مساء زارنا مسؤول مصرفي كبير كان يحتل موقعاً مهماً في البنك المركزي، وكان على علاقة قديمة بالسياسة. وبعد حوالي نصف ساعة بدأت معلومات ترد عن توتر بين اثنين من الميليشيات، وبدأنا نسمع رشقات نارية بعيدة. قرر الضيف ان يعود الى بيته قبل ان يحتدم القتال، وكان لا يبعد عنا سوى كيلومتر واحد تقريباً، وقال انه سيسلك شارعاً لا يشهد عادة قتالاً وليس فيه مسلحون. لكنه ما ان ابتعد خمسين متراً حتى فوجئ بحاجز لأحد طرفي القتال يطلب منه عناصره ابراز هويته، فعرّف عن نفسه، لكنهم طلبوا هوية سائقه. وعندما عرفوا انه من «الاعداء» انزلوه وعصبوا عينيه وقيدوا يديه، على رغم تدخل المصرفي ورجائه لهم ان يأخذوه بدلاً منه.

وأدى إلحاح الرجل وتمسكه بسائقه بأحد المسلحين الى اطلاق النار بالقرب منه، فهرول عائدا الى مبنى المؤسسة مستغيثاً ببضعة حراس عند مدخلها حاولوا اقناعه بأن الحوار مع المسلحين مستحيل. وبعدما هدأ روعه، بدأت سلسلة اتصالات طويلة ومضنية شارك فيها مسؤولو المؤسسة مع قيادات الميليشيا التي خطفت السائق. وكان المصرفي يردد انه لن يذهب الى بيته الا وقد استعاد السائق، وانه لن يستطيع النظر في عيون اطفاله وزوجته وهو الذي «تسبب» في خطفه عندما انتزعه من بينهم ليرافقه في زيارته.

خمس ساعات ثقيلة مرت الى ان تم «العثور» على مكان احتجاز السائق، وكان ذلك، بحسب رواية قياديي الميليشيا، قبل تنفيذ قرار «تصفيته» بقليل. وعندما وصل برفقة عناصر الميليشيا الى المبنى، هرع الرجل الى استقباله باكيا ومعانقا، وقال: الآن نستطيع العودة الى البيت.

هذا المصرفي صاحب الضمير كان فؤاد السنيورة. فهل نخشى على الخزينة من رجل مثله؟

حتى السوريون، حلفاؤك الجدد الذين لا يطيقون مجرد سماع اسم السنيورة لم يصلوا الى حد اتهامه بالسرقة. ألا قليلاً من التعقل أيها الجنرال.
