If the only option is a civil war or let HA run around the country doing whatever the hell they please then maybe a civil war when one of the sects will be wiped out then i choose the latter maybe the remaining two sects can then build a country worthy of that name.

i have a better option. sanyoura resigns today, we have general elections tomorrow, and we elect a new president the day after tomorrow.

which ever that is doesn t really matter i guess, as i said as long the remaining two can manage to build a country b/c anything is better than what we have now where a mufti/sheikh or priest can tell a gvt it is forbidden for it to fire one of its employee b/c that person belongs to his tribe.

there is something that caught my attention in GMA's speech earlier today:

if we combine the above with the runway monitoring claims launched by jumblat a few days ago; it kinda becomes clear that something has been planned to pave the way for the government's don kichotic statement.

obviously the statement itself wasn't the goal. i am afraid the green light for D-Day may have just been given.

Yes I agree, it might be a "better option," but is it probable? I highly doubt this will happen.

Therefore, the next best solution is to elect GMS President asap and fill the vaccuum. This will bring a balance to the political equation in the country and keep things stablized at least until the 2009 elections. At least with his election, the 2009 elections can be guarenteed.

agree! but nobody fires an employee because jombi said so
firing if it should happen can take place after an investigation is done,the guilty is found,and all of it made public and clear
because firing someone because he belongs to a certain sect is no better than a religious interfeering,
