Ma khass HA, you can do much better than that I know you.

Please Mahmoum, check your news sources well, before opening a campaign to attack GMA and FPM.

GMA never said mamnou3 touwzir al khasrin, he was talking about the presidency being a reward for someone who lost in the elections, and he stated his opinion that he was against. It was never about Nassib Lahoud becoming a minister. Ya7ouwe eja minister Nassib Lahoud in 2008 w ma 7ada fata7 temmo.

If you scratch the back of your head a little, you remember that Jibran Bassil was also appointed a minister in 2008, although he failed in the elections of 2005. (The same as General Abou Jamra and Dr. Mario Aoun).

So here you have to excuse me, we should ask for some consistency from your part and not vice versa.

Another smalla advise, don't get carried away too much from what you hear from the Hariri media factory.
I feel very sorry and sad to read a perfect argument in your reply and don't hear it from GMA in his today's press. So the problem is not in the Hariri media factory but in GMA when saying "Jibran Bassil or the wall".

So now that we finished from what GMA said in 2006, let us move back to 2009.

Jibran Bassil is being attacked day and night from the Hariri clan, now what do you suggest GMA and FPM to do? Let him alone and not stand by him?

Plus did you question why is all this campaign against a successful minister as Bassil from Hariri and his gang?

The problem is neither GMA nor Bassil; it's having a weak leader like Saad appointed to be PM.

Regardless of what you call Saad, he is very weak and does not have the skills of his father. If he manages to form a government, he will be running away to Monaco whenever an incident happens.

The problem is not Gebran Bassil, even though he became the symbol of the government formation because of the propaganda, but it is deeper than this: no more majority because Jumblat has gone far away, obedience to Egypt/KSA/Syria/US/Iran etc. we are waiting for the whole world to decide how the Lebanese government can be. A strong PM-to-be should have been ble to form his council without letting any foreign enetity intervenes. God knows what Saad is waiting for

It is too sad that even FPMers are falling for Hariri's propaganda.

The loser in 2005 Lahoud was appointed minister in 2008. Who opened his mouth?
The loser in 2005 Marouni was appointed minister in 2008. Who opened his mouth?
The loser in 2005 Irslan was appointed minister in 2008. Who opened his mouth?
The loser in 2005 Bassil was appointed minister in 2008. Who opened his mouth?
The loser in 2005 Mario Aoun was appointed minister in 2008. Who opened his mouth?
The loser in 2005 Abou Jamra was appointed minister in 2008. Who opened his mouth?

The ONLY time this topic was opened was in 2006 when 14 Feb wanted a loser to become the country's PRESIDENT! How can a LOSER REPRESENT HIS COUNTRY?

A president represents his country.
A ministry represents his party in the government.

Hariri Reacts to Aoun: I Stayed Away from Political Rivalries since Start of Formation Process

The premier-designate has been careful stay away from "political rivalries" since he started his mission to form a national coalition government, Saad Hariri's press office said Monday in reaction to MP Michel Aoun's earlier statements.

"Since the moment he was designated premier, Saad Hariri has worked to form a national coalition government away from media and political rivalries," the office said in a statement.

"As such Hariri insists that the jurisdictions of the premier-designate are clearly stated by the Lebanese Constitution and he did not, at any point in time, breach or will breach the Constitution or exceed those jurisdictions," it added.

Hariri, the statement said, "believes that while each political team has the right to present its demands, the cabinet shape-up is the responsibility of the premier-designate in cooperation with the president of the republic."

It said that Hariri has been conducting deliberations to form a government "based on the parliamentary elections outcome that ushered a parliamentary majority."

"That majority, along with Speaker Nabih Berri's bloc and the Tashnag, nominated the premier-designate to form a government according to the constitution," it added.

"No one has the right to try to cripple the record tourism season with media and political rivalries that are futile and have no purpose but to poison the air and the lives of the Lebanese," the statement concluded.
