Excellent move,

Whats happening here (i hope) , is that Feb 14 group know that they have no choice but to elect GMA for president, so they wanna make it with the least loss as possible , they devised a plan for this :

1- Go into 7iwar 7atta "yrak3oo" their mistakes.
2- Change their public opinion about aoun through junblatt, who after the meeting will be very positive about him and begin praising him
3- elect Aoun president after they try to impose some of their conditions .

That way, they wont end up loosing, just like the daccash said, yalla mabrook shabeb men hala2 !

Very good analysis and thats how I see it too.

They have no other choice but GMA, and thus they want to reach a compromise and not go out of this with a total loss.

Besides who knows GMA might be the one who brings back Hizbulla and PSP.

Anyways this is a very positive step, dialogue, dialogue, dialogue.

Forget about presidency..If GMA is killing himself to become a president like LF always think he would have got it in 1990 when Ela5dar Elibrahimi was ready to give him 37 Million dolards and to go with him to Eltaef...Aoun said: If this money are for me i can't spend them and if they are to sell Lebanon the money are cheap...Aoun wants the presidency and the republic a not the president,thus the meeting with Jumblat in this special time is a must..because the druse historicaly played a huge role in the reform of Lebanon....In the Eltaef there was a reforming of MAJLIS ELSHIOU5...What about Jumblat to become the president of this MAJLIS and Hariri the prime minister and Hassan Nasrallah the future president in the parliament...Aoun the president...In this scenario we solve Lahhoud's problem...

dont u think that the meeting with jumblat will give a bad picture to GMA after the bad american impression of us, france ,and other europeen countries and what they say about the presidency that they prefer a president from the 14 mars(al nahar-karim abou el naser), the lebaneese people should think that he is saving his place in the presidency,by his meeting with jumblat??????//////
