His answer was very childish : Did I mention names?
Isn't Aoun a courageous politician responsible of every word he says?
His answer was very cunning bc the people and newspapers figured out who was GMA talking about on their own, which means WJ fits the description of the man spoken about by GMA and this is the exact persona of the master of Mokhtara. Why would they make such an assumption if those traits were not a signature of Jumblat? Hence, there was nothing childish about the response, it's your own problem if you haven't grasped the brilliancy of the answer.

As for the calmness, I wonder if you were watching a different tv channel. He started the show by telling Marcel what he should ask and when to go to the next question because he couldn't answer.
calmness regarding answering the questions and discussing the topics.
As for his quarrels with Marcel, they were needed to set Marcel straight in order for him not to resort to his tricks and diversions.

As for controlling Marcel: Did you see how much he pissed Marcel when he said "3am betzawer" and Marcel made him withdraw the word?
Walla Af7amtne.
Now rewatch the episode, and notice how Marcel was unable to "yestelmo" la GMA like he usually does with the other guests. Marcel started the episode intending to lure GMA into discussing the tiny electoral details (nominating who and where, allying with who, etc....), but GMA managed not to fall into Marcel's tricks and he focused on the major issues, the guidelines, and the general policies.

Just for future reference, the interview is now available on youtube in 15 parts. This is the first one:

the interview was the best of gma
that's mainly because marcel tried so hard and gma was very very cool and calm and was able to contain him , that's why the interview was great
the one thing i didn't like is the mou3ta2alin issue gma's answer was extremely weak , didn't like it at all , as a matter of fact , if i was a parent of those mou3ta2alin and heard aoun talking about the issue with such "la moubelet" or evading the issue , i would definitely hate him ........and that's the truth
and gma could have mentioned the fact of nouwweb el aktariyeh y3atlo el nisab more , it was a very important strenght point that he didn't use like he should have

I noticed something about the alliance with SSNP:

When Marcel was telling him that you will ally with Marada and SSNP in Koura, he said yes than hesitated for a couple of seconds and specified that it is with Dr Salim Saadeh. I had the impression that the alliance is with SSNP bi chakhes Dr Saadeh and not anyone else.

If my impression is right, then I think the same will apply on Maten elections if there will be a SSNP candidate on the C&R list.

Did anyone have the same impression?

I had that impression too; but later when he answered the 18 questions by 18 year olds. There was one question about SSNP specifically.

And it gave a much clearer indication of where GMA stands on this subject in Metn.

he also hinted that SSNP will not be in the C&R block.

Of course they will not be, because SSNP is an independent party that would rather choose to form his own block because as you know his principles are completely different from those of General Aoun.Probably, they will ally in Meten and Koura just for the matter of winning but there is no common ground in between.

Typical Feb14 lies!

I was searching for the video of the interview on Youtube.

One user decided to post a partial clip of the interview with the title:

Michel Aoun with Marcel Ghanem on "Kalam el Nas" Tv show - March 2009 - "I am one of Syria's Symbol in Lebanon, and i am proud of it"

Kataeb geniuses. And then they end the clip, and cut the part of (as if to blindly decieve the public), when he in fact explains that he is a LEBANESE symbol in Syria.

Distortion and twisting of words has become the norm of these fools. This is what we call absolute political bankruptcy when you have to invent words (and even stories for that matter) in order to influence public opinion.
