I'm sorry, we lost, but we'll win again if we're able to convince the people that our choice is the right one. And Vicking presented good ways of doing that. |
You had four years to convince people, you had an unprecedented media campaign pre-elections, you had a tv station 24/24 broadcasting your ''choice'' in the last 2 years, you brought up all possible weapons to accuse your rivals...
Yet you couldn't convince anyone; stay stubborn, insist on this ''choice'' of your's maybe you'd have nul MP's next time.
7abibe any party in the world does a self-check and revises its politics after a loss in an elections, I haven't seen FPM doing that in the past 2 days, neither have i even seen a tendency to do a self-criticism!
Really makes one wonder;
...or guess what, i've wondered lots of times before, really did, and it figures that I couldn't careless any longer. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to freemind For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

I hope Tayyar will take concrete internal actions // stop criticizing Aoun, we are as much responsible (talking about Tayyar members and direct support team) | Ya vicking, I talk from an angry heart. We must change with :
1/ Hire PR PRofessional - communicate better
2/ Launch international funding plan
3/ COntrol information abroad (as we used to do it before)
4/ Launch programs in English / French
5/ Resolve FPM leadership crisis (we have no other leader) | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to vicking For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

And it was maybe the best thing a Lebanese leader could ever do.
Those "historical" Christian orientations only led to a civil war, and to the downfall of the Lebanese Christian community.
I honestly think this revolution of thought is one of the best things Michel Aoun ever accomplished. Be it intentionally or not.
However, what's interesting is that you - quoting - found his policies wrong, and yet you still managed to vote for FPM, full list.

I must admit that I am not pleased at all with these words. Sure the rest was good, but I had hoped for GMA to cool down on his formulations with a sectarian tone. This dichotomy is being spread into the ranks of the FPM base. FPM needs to get back on its national-scale scope and to avoid sectarian quicksands and classifications. check out Vegojimbo's thread. We are not longing for such stances and as much as I love GMA, he should take it easy on these issues. He once said: If I am being sectarian, reject me (or something like that).
I didn't like his stances on democracy and rights either, it holds quite some contradiction.
Now stripping the interview from the above, I will tend to agree with the rest of what he said.

After this interview i have become skeptical more and more; i think they're should be a Change & Reform within the FPM itself, starting from the top.
I mean What I’ve concluded from this interview is the following:
• We deny our failure.
• We keep attacking the opponent religious communities
• We are drowning in the conspiracy theories
• We are blind when it comes to our corrupted allies but alert to the adversary corrupters

Regards. | Dont change the great leaders by ... who ? do you have a leader ? no.
Change the internal Tayyar PR team.. GMA should be helped by professional : what to say, what not to say.
The 2nd rank Tayyar commanders are to be reorganized, not our leader | | | | | | |
