GMA against the world again?

The only reason why Aoun can't negotiate as Ashrafieh said it is because he is not a true politician.

Something struck me in the NTV documentary about the war where Aoun said that how can he stop his war when the people outside his window were still there. How can he deceive them for personal gain. How can he give up the country's sovereignty to keep his position, which is what a normal politician would have done.

This is the same situation we find ourselves in, GMA can not give up on his demand for change and reform because that's what the people want from him. And even if the whole world was against him one more time, he'd rather be crushed than give up on those demands for the sake of a regional agreement.

And hopefully this time victory will be ours and if we are crushed again by international pressure then i sure as hell will lose any faith i have left in this country.

excellent point hitman. that explanation can be summed up in an often abused word: accountability.

What people that dont like GMA dont understand is that accountability is genuine. It is a very scary thing. It is a monster in all meanings of the word. It is powerful, scary, and MUST BE RESPECTED.

The alternatives are disastrous: the wrath of 4 million people. The same wrath that the loyalists are experiencing right now. They have 15 years [and in some cases more] of lack of accountability for their actions.
