you have to start thinking like a militiaman or a thug.
if you a criminal and you win 2 parliamentary seats, that's a win, because rather than being at place de l'etoile, you should be behind bars.

so everything is relative.

we won 27 seats and are feeling badly about not having won ashrafiyeh and zahle (were it not for the sunni vote) and they won 5 seats (mostly due to the sunni vote) and are declaring it a victory.

so knowing that the alternative for them is jail and public hangings for all the crimes they have committed, any seat is a victory, let alone 5.
