Default Geagea vs Jounblatt! - 3 Weeks Ago

I know this is not much different from a reality slap!

but i would like to point the attention to those very similar yet diametrically opposite declarations:

-Samir Geagea, Feb 14th, 2006, Martyrs' Square, Beirut
سمير جعجع: البحر امامكم والعدو وراكم

-Walid Jounblatt, Oct 25th, 2009, Sawfar Mount Lebanon

I am interested how Hariri supporters and the Geageaists look at this controversy..
  • What has changed? yet Jounblatt remains a pillar of March 14th as recently said by one of hariri's lackeys..
  • Will Jounblatt be present on Feb 14th commemoration of Hariri? and if he will be there, will Geagea's be there?
  • Amine Gemayel refused GMA's condoleances for the death of his child Pierre Gemayel because GMA was allied with SSNP... few days ago, Amine Gemayel declared that Jounblatt is not an ally just a friend... shouldn't he be a mortal enemy? like GMA?
  • Jounblatt perhaps can now be considered a major pro-HA weapons... doesn't that mean that more than 50% of the population adn more than 50% of the General Assembly are in favor of the weapons... (please don't forget Hariri's new stance towards those weapons)..
  • can we still call the Hariri alliance anti-Syrian?

Do you remember Junblatt's statement on that day? When he hurled Assad with personal insults? Please don't compare junblatt to anyone, he is the biggest hypocrite Lebanese politics has ever seen.

Dude, the guy hasn't changed his practices since he was born.

What made you think that he was a man of principle ??

Maybe the fact that he started saying the things that you wanted to hear ?

of course he is the biggest hypocrite around

but the sad/funny thing is that jumbi the hypo himself is the one who created all this 14cedar movement that is allied with the usa...

without him the 14cedar movement now is like a dude without his head walking around wearing a usa t-shirt

if that isn't sad/funny i dont know what is

Kappa,

I'm sure you will ally with anyone who will legitimise your weapons.

But, According to your rhetoric, Jumblat today is closer to the HA, AMAL,SSNP,FPM alliance than the 14ers. why don't you just form a majority government with Jumblat, and excluded the 14ers ?

That is democracy in its true form.

You can bring Karami as the PM, and appoint cabinet at your own discretion .

I will completely support such cabinet, where at least i will have someone to hold accountable.

Your 'so called' unity government should be relabled, government of unacountablity. You won't take charge and govern because the entire nation will hold you accountable for their misfortune, but you won't let others govern, in fear that they might succeed and improve lebanon, and take credit for it. I'm sick of this Zoo Called lebanon.

P.s

Good luck with your Geagea bashing, but you can rest assured the more the likes of Jumblat and Hizbullah accuse the Lebanese-forces with treason, the more popular the LF get.
