Should we also blame sanyora for Montreal pricing?
People need to understand that fuel pricing is related to capacities of refineries and demand much more than the price of crude, especially when it comes to what we call benzin in arabic.

Gas prices finally give, oil prices dip
Oil falls below $67 as optimism on US economy wanes, World Bank sees deeper recession
By Chris Kahn, AP Energy Writer
On Monday June 22, 2009, 12:42 pm EDT
Buzz up! 16 Print.NEW YORK (AP) -- Retail gasoline prices retreated Monday for the first time in nearly two months, as benchmark crude prices fell 4 percent.

The World Bank said the global economy would shrink more than previously stated and burgeoning supplies of crude and gasoline finally appeared to grab hold of energy prices that since early May have appeared to shake off market fundamentals.

Benchmark crude for July delivery dropped $2.93 to $66.63 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The July contract expires later Monday, and most of the trading already has shifted to the August contract, which lost $2.86 to $67.16.

Average retail gasoline prices fell for the first time in 54 days. The national average for pump prices fell 0.3 cents overnight to $2.69 a gallon, according to auto club AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service.

Folks,
Oil prices are heading up gradually because the US dollar is sliding down gradually again, while the US treasury is printing dollars like there is no tomorrow.
I said it before on this forum. The L.L. should be pegged to the euro if any, so Lebanon like Europe feels less pain at the gas pump along with the rest of the commodities prices that need to be transported for delivery.
I doubt well ever see the euro for $1.25 ever again.
