Default Free Lebanese Armenian Movement(FLAM) - 26th July 2008

Their website, حركة اللبنانيين الارمن الاحرار !
I heard they are making huge ground on armenian street, not only that I heard many saying they are composed of people who worked for Dashnak in the past. They are now fired from Dashank party!

In 2007 they brought 2200 votes vs 7800 votes the Dashnak brought. Will the shift of armenians in 2007 continue to 2009? Or will the Dashnak still remain the major force between armenians?

What info you guys got about this movement?

Another version of the "Free Shiite Movement" (FSM)... I can't but see the similarity in the name of both movements...

Nareg Abrahamian should've sticked with his "ta2a3oud" pension. I met the guy, spoke extensively with him, nothing very stricking really, zero charisma, zero political witt, zero vision, constant GMA basher, he spent an hour and a half telling me how Lebanon's woes are all due to GMA, throwing in Hezbollah's name every now and then. I didn't even hear him mention Tashnak.
Now when you're the head of a new party who's vying to compete within the Armenian community, the least you should be able to do is tell me about yourself instead of spending your time telling me about others. Today, I know just as much about the "Free Armenians" as I did before I met him.

Nothing interesting if you ask me. People should get over their Michel Aoun complex.

I agree but i understand Nareg in this case, he was an officer in the army and served under GMA and after retiring from the Army he joined Tashnag party and had a good position in it, so his connections with GMA and his position in the Tashnag made him think that he is worth the Maten seat, once Tashnag nominated Hagop Pakradounian for the seat he went to Rabyeh and begged GMA to take him on the list instead of Pakradounian, GMA told him that it is up to Tashnag to decide who is their candidate.

So it is very normal for him to have the Michel Aoun complex

It's all the same

Where did you hear that? care to elaborate?? which polls??

Did you pass by armenian neighborhoods and knock on each door and

asked them about their new found FALM?

seriously now, do you think that armenians will hesitate before voting

against the feb 14 gang after the racist speeches against them in the maten

elections
