Any Christian-Christian rapproachment is a good thing for Lebanon and for the Christians. That's our Batrak's ever sounding advice. We like Sami and he operates with outmost care for the Christian interests overall. If the Kateab provide the bridge for an Marada-LF reconciliation, then we're all for it. I have always said that historically the LF and Marada (pre-Franjieh) have common roots and goals. Ehden's massacre was a grave political mistake committed by the Kataeb party in its bid to control the north in the 70s. Simply, they over-reacted without properly accounting for the reation and the Syrian plan....but that's history now.

Did you look at the numbers in akkar?

How did you come up with this !!

LF won in Bsharre , I give it to you, they won in Batroun and Koura with the sunni vote plain and simple.

In Akkar, every Christan town and I repeat every one FPM won at least 60% of the votes and I can give you every town result if you want prove

The loyalists' results in Zgharta are thanks to Mouawwad legacy & expats>> it's LF's merit.

Typical! LF practices the same "shoumouli" mentality it accuses its opponents of.
I'm not LFer im just being objective - LF showed that they have a strong base in the north
and if you keep hiding from the truth saying expats , money and legacy you will lose heavily in 2013
Christians are fed up from this never ending struggle between LF and FPM and Kataeb - erfo el 3alam - disgusted ...
the priority of the coming phase would be how to gather these christians on important issues that touch their existance .. unless you want to play FPMers and LFers in canada
khalsouna men hal "ghaba el siyeiseh"
GMA should make the move / break the deadlock - and he can do it because he is still the number one christian leader and the most wise
Sami Gemayel move towards marada should be followed up closely by all christian parties and especially FPM

In batroun and bsharreh they won the christian vote by a large margin
and they lost by a small margin in koura and zgharta.
if you make the count in the 4 christian majority districts you will notice that LF got the christian majority in the north

FIRST THING :
AKKAR BEL 2ALEB....AKKAR IS THE CHRISTIAN SHIELD.

second: for these ga3ga3ist i say...moush la7 tezbat ma3koun bel chmal.
i am quiet involved with northern politics and rest assured, sg outside bcaharri ma 3endou aktar men

1-10-15% in zgharta
2-20% in koura ( beir roumin all maronites WE WON IT IN 09...)
3-20-25% in batroun.
now if ga3ga3 wants to count on the sunni voters as well, yes it will increase his % .

SF is the undisputed king maker of the christian north, sha2a men sha2a wa abba man abba.
wal GENERAL is the overall BOSS of the christian in lebanon.

so esma7oulna fiyya wa rou7ou 3mello 3ared 3adalatt be bcharri aw be beirut 3.

PS. sa3doun congratulated SF on his win by saying he was so sure that micho will win and jawad had 70 % chance.

6 pages of absolute non sense. I am a little bit disappointed from some FPMers (the bachirist Marada haters) in this thread about the way they analyse and label other people and how they consider themselves "non feuldal".

Palcebo.. you are right, I wasn't referring to Akkar or Tripoli. These are northern areas where Sunnis/FM have the upper hands over all other sects and parties.

all I can tell you is that Michel Mouawad lost by ~900 votes (less than 1%). Guess who is behind Michel in Zogharta-Zaweieh??

Guys ... the main point is that the Christians should be united, at least on broad survival and nationalistic issues!! where is Camille Chamoun, Sleiman Franjieh and Charles Malek when we need them??
