My concern was not about abstaining as much as you are an hypocrite. Let's consider what is "less worse" in feudalism :

1- A whole group's campaign based on dam el shahid, khatt bashir, jibran, etc.
2- Feudals on the other camp giving no mention about it and supporting reform.

Very selective and hypocritical. If you pick one camp over the other, then at least have decency in criticizing.

Despite the political differences (not ideological differences), Marada and kataeb feud is over in the military sense. This is a normal meeting between Sleiman Franjieh and Sami Gemayal.

May god rest the souls of the people that died in that conflict. Hopefully, the Christians learned from their mistakes. Some (geagea) surely haven’t learned yet…

Love your hypocrisy, inconsistency and double standards on the subject. You give urself "extenuating circumstances" but refuse to do the same for FPM. mmmm.

One explanation of this meeting is a planified action between Walid Jumblat and Gemayel despite the appearance of Jumblat criticizing and insulting Gemayel everyday.
Jumblat developps good relations with SHN, and Gemayel the same with Franjieh.
The ultimate goal is to isolate GMA....and by the way Geagea.
As after Taef....the two main christian leaders where eliminated one in Jail and the other in France.
These two leaders (and their disciples) have demesurate egos and prefers to be slaughtered and all christian with them and not to reconciliate even on survival aims.
History is repeating itself.

about the reconciliation i think its good and also not very significant, and i think many people in this forum like to "y7alilo" to much and end up writing a load of bull.
