i think gemayel notices in the places where his power is located he cant win anymore.. maten future is fpm - tashnag.. so he is maybe switching sides now? since its obvious the tahalof tashnag - fpm is soo strong..

Don't be a bad loser, if there is 4 sanadi2 day3a tafaddal we t3an still 2 days, on the other hand don't forget that Gemayel and Frangieh are parents, and are both losers in the 2009 elections, and probably will be compleetely eliminated in 2013, one by Geagea and one by MA.
Their meeting is about survival, i hope Frangieh will not bow too much for his survival.

Actually Frangieh and Gemayel's future is ahead of them, but what they are both concerned about, is inheriting one day the FPM base. Frangieh is doing a good job in that area. I dont know if Samy el gemayel fehemma yet...

استقبل رئيس تيار المرده النائب سليمان فرنجية في دارته في بنشعي رئيس اللجنة المركزية في حزب الكتائب النائب سامي الجميّل. وشارك في اللقاء نجل رئيس تيار المرده طوني فرنجية والمسؤول السياسي في تيار المرده يوسف سعاده والمسؤول الاعلامي المحامي سليمان فرنجية وعضو لجنة الشؤون السياسية المحامي شادي سعد.
بعدما شكل هذا اللقاء محطة اولى للتعارف، تطرق البحث الى الوضع السياسي العام سيّما الواقع المسيحي الحالي مع ما يقتضيه هذا الامر من نبذ للخلافات وتعال عن الحسابات الضيقة والشخصية وايجاد نقاط مشتركة تؤسس لحوار مثمر ودائم بين كافة الافرقاء كلّ من موقعه، بغية الإلتقاء حول رؤية شاملة وموضوعية من شأنها إستعادة الدور الطبيعي للمسيحيين وتأمين إستقرار وجودهم وإستمراريته في لبنان من ضمن وحدته الوطنية.

كما أكدا على ضرورة عودة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين إلى ديارهم والوقوف صفاً واحداً أمام أية محاولة لتوطينهم في لبنان لما لهذا الأمر من إنعكاسات خطيرة على بنيته السياسية والإجتماعية، وضرباً للقضية الفلسطينية برمتها.
ثم إستبقى النائب فرنجيه ضيفه إلى مائدة الغداء

The Kataeb party as a whole knows very well that its main contestant on the long run is not FPM but the LF. It seems we are going to encounter some interesting reconsiderations in the very near future.

The FPM is a theory full of principles...
We welcome both Frangieh and Gemayel to be under our umbrella....

I think Samy knows that at one point in time he will be clashing with Samir Geagea, the question is only a matter of when. His step towards Franjiyeh reflects his will to explore the other side of the Christian street. I would expect him to start opennig bridges with FPM soon. However, Kataeb need to apologize first for all the unacceptable acts they did o FPM after Pierre was assassinated ! Samy is welcome to join C&R bloc anytime, he will defintely get a bigger role than what he is currently allowed to have under Saad-Geagea-jumblat

A very positive step in the right direction.

I'm sure this meeting is a prelude to the much anticipated Marada-Lebanese forces reconciliation.

It is inevitable that an overall inter-christian reconciliation occur, to present a unified front on the issues that affect our national interests, particularly when 'Others' are Less interested in our national identity and are too busy implementing foreign agendas.
