I anwered about what made us LOSE votes, and not what made them gain votes.

My answer was the MoU with HA ( well the complete alliance ) and the relations with Syria. I believe that's what cost us a lot of neutral votes.

The other factors sure were decisive in rising the numbers of our opponents, but i believe no matter what politics we were following, they were going to be there.

I have no idea how did he reached that percentage.

Annahar reported this on Tuesday:
واظهرت دراسة لمجمل النتائج التي ادت اليها عمليات الفرز الرسمي ان 58 في المئة من الناخبين المسيحيين صوتوا ضد لوائح العماد ميشال عون، فيما صوّت 42 في المئة لمصلحة هذه اللوائح، مما يعني انتفاء حصرية تمثيل عون للمسيحيين وان يكن احتفظ بموقع متقدم في النتائج.

I believe GMA said that this doesn't include the Armenian vote. If the Armenian vote is included, what would the number be then? 42% + how much % points?

I voted for all 6 reasons + "Others".

The "Others" being FPM and FPMers overconfidence and amateurism as an electoral machine.

What Zouxi said is perfectly true:
Compared to 2005:
- In Maten we lost 5000 votes, they won 18 000.
- In Keserwan we lost 3000, they won 9 000
- In Batroun Bassil lost 700, Zahra won 5 000
- In Jbeil we lost 1000-2000, they won 6000.
- In Zahleh we lost 4000 Christian votes, they won 16 000.

The additional number of votes they got is HUGE and can't be explained just by the votes lost by FPM. The expats dramatically changed the results.

that's what i am talking about: the natural growth in number of christian voters every 4 years is far less than the number of extra voters this year...I.E: in Metn, the number of voters was 163k in 2005, it is now 170k..so the grow is only 7k/2, the grow should be 3.5 k, accordingly maximum 90k should have voted in metn this year, whereas 110k voters showed up last sunday...something is fishy and unexplainable...

I voted all of them lol..this poll is silly coz u should only be allowed to chose one, otherwise u would chose all of them!
Anyway we should stop talking about christian votes blablabla khalas! I am christian and I feel offended, so i can't imagine what others feel when they hear this nonsense. Khalas! Plus I thought this was on our "what we have learnt list" eno stop slicing up the lebanese into communities (even though unfotunately this is what they are), but still we must start insisting on not talking that way. Even in talk shows they should absolutely avoid talking like that!!! Don't mention shi3a when u talk about HA don't mention Sunna when u talk about Hariri, same for druze with Jumblat... Just mention the party...
... and Michel Aoun is supposed to be a lebanese leader not a christian leader. His faith just happened to be christian...
