In a government of 30, there shd be 6 Sunni, 6 Shia and 6 Maronites.

We are almost sure that the 6 Shia are from opposition, which leaves you with 5 non-shia from the total of 11 ministers for opposition.

So schemes would probably be : 6 Shia (Amal/HA) + 5 Chrisitans (C&R)
or, less probably :
5 Shia and 1 Christian (Amal/HA) + 4 Chirstians and 1 Shia (C&R)

Someone on this forum (i think Fakhreddine 1618 during Engineering syndicate elections) once described the LF as a young girl trying to wear a big dress in order to appear like a grown mature lady (being the FPM)...

This would definitely apply to Joe Sarkis' statement, whose frustration is still apparent due to the fact that FPM, LF's role model and archenemy, will be having 5 ministries including 1 ''7aqiba syedye'', and due to the fact that GMA was a key negotiator during Doha summit, whereas SG was a benchwarmer...

mark my word, a ferocious battle is about to be unleashed over the dividing the spoils between the Feb14 gangs; there isn't much left to be divided, and the LF is in a desperate need to save grace amidst its supporters after how marginal Doha dialogue proved them to be within their own allies.

after the dust settles, some parties may very well withdraw from the Feb14 coalition.

I think the repartition of the ministers will be as follows:

*GMS:3 ministers.
*Opposition:
-C&R:5 ministers (3 FPM+ 1 tachnaq+ 1 skaff).
-Amal: 3 ministers.
-HA: 3 ministers.

*Loyalists:
-FM:8 ministers.
-PSP:4 ministers.
-Takattol traboulsi:1 minister.
-kataeb :1 minister.
-Lf: 1 minister.
-qornet chehwan: 1 minister.

I don't think so...they'll get maximum 1 minister...don't forget that gms has 3 ministers..at least 1 of them will be christian...hayde at least!!!

I disagree with you Ignatius.

Fouad Butros is not that neutral. He totally leans towards Hariri and HATES Aoun. So I would not put him in the Interior Ministry.

I would prefer someone like Demianos Kattar in interior... i dont know who is close to the president and neutral!?
