Again, FPM'ers are not like LF'ers hating someone for his sect. | Aren't you falling into a similar prejudice by labeling all LFers as hating others based on sect.. can't one be a LFer without hating people from different sects?
It is a rhetoric question, however if you still insist on answering yes, then Shuyu3i's comment holds as much truth. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Dry Ice For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

Again, FPM'ers are not like LF'ers hating someone for his sect. | The problem is that FPMers hate the sunnis in lebanon because they fear them just like how LF fear HA and AMAL. Fear often brings anger and hate for another. I would like to see FPM do a MOU with the sunnis in lebanon just the same way it did with HA. Before the MOU it used to think the same way with regards to the shia. | | | | | Registered Member

LF'ers are known for their sect-based hatred... the overwhelming majority.
FPM always tries to build bridges, where as LF tries to burn them.
I remember when i was an activist in AUB FPM, we used to campaign and target all sects, and keno yrou7o el LF and tell christian voters: Shefto el 3awnye! 3am bi7atto Eslem 3al listet taba3oun...Bifadlo Eslem 3ala el Masi7ieh (n'est ce pas georges daaboul, paul abou jaoude, ralf dagher, mansour wehbe????)
Tells you a lot about their mentality, el ouwet only care about the seeds of their fighters... gheir heik, the remaining 70% of christians are shi3as, not christians in their view... | | | | | Registered Member

And Shuyu3i please stop generalizing, FM is not 100% of sunna, we as FPM'ers also have Sunni allies and activists...
I even remember during the Thawrit el Arz, FPM'ers and FM'ers wer much closer to each other than PSP and LF...
So please Shuyu3i, stop this verbal sectarian diarrhea...WE ARE NOT LF TAN7EBB AW NE2TOUL 3AL HAWYIE.. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

sa3wadat wa sa3danat loubnan....... | You are way out of line here! What do you reckon the reaction of a sunni fpmer would be when reading such statement coming out of a fellow FPMer.Believe it or not, the vast majority of sunnis are very far from being wahabists. If many support FM, that doesnt give you the right to generalise and accuse a whole sect of being wahhabi. We shouldnt get carried away with the sectarian game. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to SamerTayyar For This Useful Post: | | | Orange Room Supporter

My fingers refuse writing his name.
I watched on al-manar tv an interview with General Fouad Malek ex-deputy of the LF president, for a while you think he is a member of the resistance. Massoud Achkar, Fouad Abou Nader...express similar views.

As long as GMA is calling FM "Saudi Arabia" and deny to persons elected by the sunnis the right to represent lebanese and not a foreign country it will be hard to attract FM supporters.
I hope that one day he will discover that it's at least as stupid as saying that FPM is working for Syria...
The same goes when someone say that the elected majority is consider as illegal or unconstitutional and when political offices are targetted with weapons in Beirut.
As I mentionned in another post, after the May events it's unlikely that people who voted FM in 2005 will vote for persons who didn't stand against what happened.
I precise here that I'm talking about FM followers perception of GMA and FPM. | | | | | | |
