noone is accusing you of anything, we know you too well to accuse you anyway

So you call the people who defend their leader when you think he screwed up brainwashed, but what do you call the people who don't defend their leader when he is being attacked by a global coalition against him, just for standing firm on what he and we all believe in?

elections will damage the party more than you think. i am against FPM elections, especially in the time being.

elections make all FPMers votes equal and this is what i don't agree on.

for ex. I, an FPMer living abroad since early 90s never been beaten by ISF, never been arrested, never been harrassed by other parties, never had my car glass broken because of GMA's picture in it, never written on the walls GMA's slogans in the nights to keep the dream alive, never left university to participate in demonstrations against the syrian occupation, i refuse that my voice to be equal to those brave ones who have gone through all this.

the best way for the party to live on for the time being is GMA appointing the people he trust the most

We all know that GMA is not a young man and he will not live for ever.
What will FPM do after his death if it's not an organized and well structured party that could live and evoluate in a very hard context (Lebanon)?

I think that the party must start the tests and the modernisation operations since GMA is still here to jduge in case of a major problem or incident.

Regards,

Here's your answer!

On a more serious note, I agree, but Aoun can restructure the party without necessarily organize elections to replace the head of FPM. That will come only later, coz as long as Aoun's alive, no one can replace him other than himself. And unless he's planning on retiring, then no need to seek a new party president!

I do however support elections aiming at replacing/renewing the party cadres...

Yeah, because the way the party is doing now is great huh ?

You should listen to Watani, she knows a couple of things. ;)

FPM is governed by one man who is fighting multiple wars on multiple fronts and the last thing on his mind is his party.

Dude, the party is tribe now, it's completely useless, there are no by-laws, no structures, no nothing.
It works on the word of Michel Aoun, while it should be self sufficient.

When you people start to realize that the party needs to do something to get out of its coma, then we can believe that these FPMers really want a progressive country.
Wlak if you're not even capable of applying the rules of democracy on yourself, how would you apply them on others ?

As for that, well, if you have an inferiority complex, that doesn't mean that we should all pay the price for that.

Ya khayyé, Jean Kahwagi never fought a war whereas the fighters in Nahr el Barid have seen much more killing than him. Does that make him a worthless general ?

I don't need to get beaten up by anyone to know what's best for my party and my country.

And you're destroying every little bit of democracy that your party might have by favoring others because they got beaten !!!!!

Dude, get real, I really hope that no other than hanna think like you !

If the general takes a long vacation, the elections will be over for you.
Man, if you can't stand the General, just leave FPM alone and stop wasting these incredible potentials of yours on something ma ra7 yotla3lak fy khibiz.

FPM lacks organization. There's an internal law that should be applied. The party has thousands of members. election is a must.
