FPM elections

If you see how political parties are working in European countries, you would notice that they organize their internal elections after the parliamentary elections. This is a way to "thank" the structure in both directions (re-election if success, change if failure during parliamentary elections... or simply restructuring inside the party after the transfer of some of its members to the parliament/governement in order to avoid double positions).

I think FPM will respect this "strategy" and organize its internal elections soon, maybe before the end of the year. A lot of signals confirm this trend and the base is clearly asking for it, the message could not have been avoided by the current leadership.

Also, it won't be a direct election of the FPM's leadership. According to what they explained us 2 years ago, each local comity will have the right to name a number of representatives (in function of its number of FPM members) inside a kind of FPM's parliament. Actually, a local comity should be elected and this comity names its representatives inside this FPM's parliament. And it is this FPM's parliament which will be electing FPM leaders (key positions).

NB: Each local list should present its program, otherwise its candidature will not be validated.

Elections were held last year on the local committees level.

1- I'm 200% sure that's what he said. It was on a TV interview he said he won't run for the presidency of FPM

Let not your hearts be worried. FPM's democratic elections will happen expediently but only in due course as the high principles of realistic-pragmatism/Lebanese-Politicsasusual dictate and as soon as GMA ensures that his son in law Bassil can be popular enough to extract a win.

مارون ناصيف - مقالات دورية أسبوعية للجنرال تحمل رسائل سياسية الى العونيين أكثر منهم الى الرأي العام، لقاءات عشاء ليلية تجمع الكوادر والمناضلين، منها ما يسرب الى الإعلام ومنها ما يبقى في إطار المجالس الداخلية، مجموعات صغيرة كلفها القائد بوضع مسودات عمل تتعلق بالمرحلة المقبلة والنظام الداخلي للحزب إضافة الى مواضيع أخرى...

نعم إنها مرحلة التفرغ الكامل لحزب التيار الوطني الحر وهيكليته وتنظيمه وإنتخاباته الداخلية، إنها مرحلة ما بعد السابع من أيار من العام 2005 يوم عاد العماد ميشال عون من منفاه داخلاً المعترك السياسي الداخلي من بابه العريض في ظل ظروف إستثنائية مرّ بها لبنان، فمن إنتخابات عام 2005 مروراً بتشكيل حكومة الرئيس فؤاد السنيورة وإعتصام قوى المعارضة وسط العاصمة، إضافة الى الفراغ الرئاسي وحرب تموز الإسرائيلية على لبنان ثم أحداث مخيم نهر البارد والسابع من أيار وما بعدها مفاوضات الدوحة التي أنتجت حكومة الوحدة الوطنية مع الأخذ بعين الإعتبار كل التفجيرات والإغتيالات التي إستهدفت المناطق والعديد من الشخصيات السياسية والإعلامية والعسكرية وما ولّدته من إنقسام سياسي حاد بين فريقي المعارضة والموالاة وصولاً الى إنتخابات عام 2009 الأخيرة.

إنها مرحلة الجدية والعمل الدؤوب، مرحلة نبذ الخلافات الداخلية، مرحلة التزاوج بين عونيي ما قبل السابع من أيار وما بعده، مرحلة إستيعاب الجميع وإستثمار كل الطاقات الموجودة وكل من موقعه ومهنته ووظيفته بحسب المنسق العام للتيار الوطني الحر بيار رفول الذي يذكّر بأن الإنتقال من مرحلة المقاومة الشعبية النضالية الى الحزب التنظيمي القائم على العمل المؤسساتي ليس بالأمر السهل ولكنه غير مستحيل.

المنسق العام للتيار، وهو القريب جداً من العماد عون، يرى أن الوضع السياسي الراهن في لبنان هو الأنسب للشروع في هذه الورشة الضخمة التي تحتاج الكثير من التضحيات والمثابرة والتنظيم.

المحاسبة وإعطاء الصلاحيات لمسؤولي التيار يشكلان صلب الموضوع بالنسبة الى رفول، فالدعوة مفتوحة للجميع للجلوس على طاولة واحدة ومعرفة أين نجح التيار وأين أخفق وما هو الإطار العملي الذي يشارك فيه الجميع عبر إعادة توزيع الأدوار والمسؤوليات. رفول يكشف ان لجان العمل في طور التأليف والإنطلاقة ليست ببعيدة.


نيابياً

حتى يكون العمل متكاملاً بين التيار وتكتل التغيير والإصلاح يجب على قيادة الحزب إيجاد خارطة طريق تفعل العمل بين النواب وهيئات المناطق والأقضية في التيار. رفول يرى ضرورة تشكيل لجنة قانونية لإعداد القوانين وتقديمها الى المجلس النيابي لأن الجنرال لا يجب أن يتلهى بهذه الأمور. "برنامج الجمهورية الثالثة الإنتخابي يجب تطبيقه ومتابعته" هكذا يتابع رفول كلامه الذي يقرّ بأن الديمقراطية المثالية التي اعتمدت في إختيار المرشحين الى الإنتخابات الأخيرة أثبتت أنها غير صالحة لذلك يجب العمل على خلق مرشحين الى الإنتخابات المقبلة يتمتعون بمعايير معينة.

مكتب سياسي للتيار

رفول يشدد على أن الإنتخابات الداخلية في التيار يجب أن تحصل في أسرع وقت ممكن وأن تشمل كل الأصعدة وذلك لضبط العمل وإحترام التراتبية، لافتاً الى أن إعادة النظر في النظام الداخلي لتكريس المرونة ضرورية. ويرى المنسق العام للتيار ضرورة تنظيم خلوة مماثلة للمؤتمرات السنوية التي كانت تحصل في فرنسا في زمن الإحتلال تصدر عنها مقرارات حاسمة تتولى تنفيذها مجموعة قيادية من أصحاب التجارب والكفاءات والخبرات. كما أن إنشاء مكتب سياسي للتيار يجمع القيادات بالنواب الملتزمين لا مفر منه بحسب رفول لأنها طبيعة الأحزاب.


التيار والإنتخابات البلدية

ماكينة التيار البلدية تنطلق في أوائل تشرين الأول والهم الأساس هو في إيصال أشخاص الى البلديات من اصحاب الكف النظيف بغض النظر عن مدى إلتزامهم الحزبي. رفول يؤكد أن التيار ينظر الى البلدية كحكومة محلية مصغرة مولجة تنفيذ مشروع إنمائي في القرى والبلدات وليس كأداة بيد بعض السياسيين. فالمقاربة تختلف تماماً عن الإنتخابات النيابية، الإعتبارات العائلية والتنوع السياسي إضافة الى التوزيع الطائفي كلها معايير المعركة البلدية المقبلة التي يجب ان ينتج عنها بلديات همها الأول التنظيم المدني والإهتمام بالعمران. ويختم رفول بالقول: "لا يمكن على أي فريق تسييس معركة الإنتخابات البلدية ومن يجرؤ على القيام بذلك سيدفع الثمن غالياً".

Frankly, in case FPM do not make elections in maximum a year , i think i will have to resign from FPM and i will stop being a supporter ... i know my voice alone does not mean a thing ... but this is what i will do nevertheless...

Some of the so-called "kiyadiyin" told us last year that internal elections will have negative effects on the parliamentary elections of 2009... do u think they were right?!!
A democratic "shock" is needed within FPM... ASAP

Yes, many of us voted.
We had our committee elections last year.

I voted and i was running the elections but in some regions the results were never revealed.

A new elections should be held it is a necessity.

The elections is very important for keeping the fresh blood.
What if for example someone thinks that GMA or any minister/deputy acted wrong in the political scene he has the right to account him/her.

Lek lets take it on the local level, ya jame3a if a person was holding responsibility in his small village and he is a great FPMer since 1989 but the guy dont have managerial skills?!!
So we have to wait until the next elections after we loose to change him?!!!!

We have been asking for elections since 2005 it is not a matter of hating each other we needs to practice to make this party worls without GMA this is all what we are asking.

PLEASE GMA if you are READING WE NEED INTERNAL ELECTIONS.

I'm 100% sure now that GMA has an "anti-party" culture...maybe should we forget about transforming FPM into a real party for the time being...probably this could happen in the future...
