If Bassil is competent and deserves to be in executive power and just because those who oppose FPM are like kindergarden kids who also want to 'have the same toy the others are having' and decide to nominate some of their own losers and they're competent then great....we have a 30 minister competent loser government that is better than a 30 minister incompetent winner government.

As long as who ever is nominated is competent for the job and doesn't use his/her power for fraud and 'mahsoubiyet' then welcome to carlos, marouni and all the others if they can do a good job. I never tried Carlos as an executive, lets see...judge him after you try him. Just because he has a bad Arabic accent and has a huge ego for his size you don't want him? Sarkozy's the same and he's president.
First off this is a forum and i can say what I want. I will keep on repeating it as some FPM is a great party and i dont want to see it like another LF or Kataeb later on. I can say what i want, u trying to stop me? I don't have to agree with everything you say or is this forum only for those who are sheep?

FPM are showing the people that there is no one else competent in the party except Bassil. There are so many competent people i just don't get it. I am not attacking FPM i am just concerned thats all. Is it going to be a family affair just like Kataeb?

Secondly, People did not vote for Bassil. We cannot say that he represents 55% of the christians and that he represents the FPM which brought 27 seats. This is wrong. Bassil nezil bi batroun not in the whole of lebanon. People of batroun voted and they did not want him. As I said Bassil and Ziad Baroud are the only one's who worked in the government, so I am not against Bassil. What I am saying is that he LOST the elections, so if FPM is insisting on him then the other side will put other losers. You get it or not yet?
but Bassil will be the minister of telecom in whole lebanon not in batroun. got it or not yet?

What are you guys NOT understanding????

It is NOT about Gebran Bassil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hadn't got into the portfolio barganing when they decided to VETO Bassil. In fact, Aoun said we were still negotiating the cabinet FORUMLA when the attacks came.

So we stood by OUR RIGHT to name OUR OWN ministers. NO-ONE has the right ti IMPOSE or VETO any names from our share. This is our right and internal affairs!

And so, to take the fight up to them on that principle, we INSISTED on naming Bassil, to teach them a lesson that they CAN-NOT impose anything on us!!!

Got it now??????????????????????????????????

I agree with you 150% that FPM has the right to name their OWN ministers. As every other party did FPM has the right to do this 2. I am not against this ont one bit. What I am saying is that if Bassil is not telecom minister then this fight was for NOTHING. From telecom minister to state this is emberassing for him. I urge urge FPM to keep on going asking for the finance ministry and 4 state.

So was the issue about Bassil if they nominate him as State minister? Or was it about not giving FPM the Telecom Ministry?

Our "Bassil" stand is based on Principle. And we will always fight on the principle of indepedence.

True, but also you don't have the right to impose a name on the PM.
