Those who don't know Fouad Abou Nader don't know what really means resistance.

Aside from Lebanese politics, I am very interested in French politics, US, Irak, Iran with all it's ramifications.

Am very much interested in US politics, but especially the elections. Spending more time on that online than anything.

My favorite topics to discuss are not all necessarily the "in" things right now. I try to avoid talking about March 14 and the Opposition and their problems with each other in general when with friends. I like to talk about Bachir Gemayel, the Israeli and Syrian occupations of Lebanon, the South Lebanon Army, Hezbollah, and whether or not we can truly blame Israel for a lot of the things Lebanese love to blame it for.

I endorse Dark Angel in his request to merge all future HA threads/posts into a single thread. The ugliest trend that has occurred on lfpm.org was involving HA in every little tiny discussion no matter if the subject was million miles away from HA and its ideology. I've come to a point that I didn't open anymore any HA related thread bc I've grown accustomed to the bashing and lack of discussions in those threads. The only times I would open such threads was to see how spicy and raging was the bashing fest. However, the most frustrating thing was to click on a non-HA related subject, and find out that someone in the first or second page involved HA which was the catalyst to diverting the thread completely off-topic and turning it into a HA defending/bashing thread. Sometimes it was innocent, but most of the times it was intentional and done in order to divert the discussion from the main topic just bc one or 2 members felt either uninterested in the subject or that the topic hurt them or their side in some way so derailing it was a necessity.

Let's put it bluntly: I am repulsed by all HA related discussions bc they are everything but discussions, just a mutual bash fest between HA supporters (with some FPMers as backup sometimes) and HA opponents. As well, I notice that whenever someone wants to criticize FPM, they bring HA to the mix, ya3ne criticism by proxy. Either criticize FPM directly or spare us ur wisdom thank u very much. There's plenty to criticize FPM for, using HA as a building point is not one of them however.

It's a big turn off IMO, and something the administration ought to seriously keep in mind.

PS: anxiously waiting for a "freedom of speech" sermon.

i'll support you and help you formalize the acronyms and root them in the psyche of the individuals; and when I am done I promise you that Fouad Abou Nadir will be the only leader people think about at the mention of LF :)

Lebanese Forces (LF) name, icons, symbols, etc...are the sole proprietary of the LF party with its current leader Samir Geagea. While we recognize and respect past LF leaders, the departed and the living ones, I trust that you don't engage in smearing and propaganda campaigns specially as you embark on this new forum. There are individuals with 30+ people behind them, and there are Leaders with 30,000+ people around them!! so don't mix realities with wishful thinking.
Elie

What about censorship? In the new forum, the approval of admins to open a new thread is also needed?
Does it matter what members wants to discuss?
