The army has been useless, way before this event.
The army wouldn't have even done anything to FEI if they didn't attack the army, they made a big mistake in that attack, they played their cards wrong, either they assumed the army wouldn't do anything or they were told not to worry the army won't do anything by people in the gov't who want to scare other Lebanese with this Wahabi threat.
The goal has become obvious in Lebanon, if the US and Saudi Arabia cannot rely on the Lebanese gov't and army than they want to instigate a Sunni-Shia war and empower these wahabi types. They want civil war in Lebanon and everybody is falling for it.
If the army wants to do a good job, it should get rid of this gov't, the sectarian system, the corrupt politicians, those who have created this mess in the first place, it should attack those who empower fanatics in any community but the truth is the army works for them and is part of the problem.
You can't fight the gov't without fighting the army because the army defends this gov't unless it splits and even one of the split parts might still defend the gov't. I don't know why people glorify the army, it is a corrupt institutions just like the gov't. |
this Country and the Army have been useless since the creation of it... it did not take me some sunni fanatics to see that im just repeating my self and asking where is the Army...
our Army is useless because it is built on a sectarian way some people say General Lahoud worked to unite the Army.. so funny how did he Unite the army when it can get split anytime?
