I think they made it a point to have non anonymous donations, everything will be clear, who gave what, you know w do not want some idiots a la ferkit kechkich to claim later on that some Iranian President or some alien ally gave us the money.

No, actually in the US, you have to give up all your info even if your donate $ 10. The reason is simple : foreigners are not allowed to donate any money.

So they need to know who gave what, even small sums.

Everything is in the public record, and by checking certain websites, like
