Well Fouad Saniora and loyalist promised to do that politically with Israel since 3 years ago and till now they don't arrive even to resolve the Ghajar issue.

What do you suggest to liberate Shebaa?

Well all depends on the unity that the lebanese can have and show to the world.

If we are united no war can ever be done on us even if Israel wants to.

But also we need to see if Hezb will want to stay that way and will want to keep the southern front calm as it has been fopr the past 3 years.

Even if provocations are coming from Israel we should not give them the opportunity and the excuse to attack us.

Everything can be done diplomatically to save the lives of thousands of Lebanese and to save our economy as well as our country.

i think and i believe that Hezb is more then clever today not to give any excuses for Israel to launch a war against Lebanon.

Let me put it this way
before 2000 and before the american presence in the regions, the israeli wars were purly israeli choices basically for israeli internal affairs. the 1993 and 1996 wars were both launched as a part of electoral campaigns...
after 2000 and the direct american intervention in the area, israelis wars are not an israeli option anymore...actually the 2006 war was imposed by USA and israel wanted to end it as soon as it depleted all its targets...it was the USA and the orbiting arab regimes who pushed to extend the war in order to win some points in negotiations with syria and iran.
In order to launch a war, israel must gain the approval of USA, the arab regimes, and definitely and unfortuantely some lebanese backup for that.
As for HA, HA does not have the capability to start a WAR...even if HA launches an assault on an israeli target, it is the israeli response and decision that starts a war.
Karar el 7arb wel selem is not in the hand of lebanese

you are totaly right in your analysis of the situation.

But don't you think that even if Israel wants to launch a war, Hezb is not in a position to stop it by not giving them the excuse to continue it?

And i think that Israel can not start a war without an excuse, take today for example, the front is totaly calm and nothing is happening from both sides, so if Hezb or any other party will not do any provocation on Israel, nothing can push them to start something specially that the UNIFIL is there and all the world are observing Israel.

Today the USA are not in a position to push Israel to create a war, not like before with the Bush regime.

so we need to stay united in order to keep the country out of any danger.

I agree that we must stay united to keep the country out of any danger...israel is aware that it can not defeat a united Lebanon!
but i dont agree that israel actually needs an excuse..you are not talking about a fair international community that is going to interfere if israel attacks lebanon. and in all cases, israel can always fabricate an excuse...remember how the 1982 war started? an assasination attempt in London that turned out to be fabricated by the mossad itself...
