Agree, the close proximity of these countries and the nature of the diaspora there make it the most fertile place to persuade voters.

To all Lebanese FPM Supporters outside lebanon, coming to lebanon in june for elections must be for "a national Cause", so here the money ( to cover the trip) is equal zero .
Your Dignity must be over this cheap approach.

4- We are very strong now to make the change, but we need every single vote eitther we live in lebanon or from Disapora.
5- For example:
If total of tayyar supporters in Diaspora are 50000 and only 10000 are expected to come to vote.
If Total LF and Kataeb supportes In DiAsPORA ARE 20000 AND 15000 Intend to come to vote,
In this case results will change | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

the opposition needs to do something about this issue cause if our supporters so not come in big numbers we will lose the elections without any doubt.
Let us not undersize the issue here, they r not bringing 500 people, they are bringing thousands which can turn the results upside down especially in districts where we are in close competition with them.
Boutros hard went to Australia and took the mekhtar with him to make passports to those who haven’t been to Lebanon decades ago plus to convince others to come though money or on the basis of the political families heritage.
In koura the same thing is happening as farid makari went to Saudi Arabia and visited the shiaa that have businesses there to gain their support, plus if we take his hometown Anfeh for example he is bringing every single person that votes for him wherever they live. Only in Anfeh farid makari will be bringing from abroad 500+ and these alone can turn the result upside down because not all FPMers can come on their own expense, so if 30% or FPMers come for the elections it’s not enough cause like in koura most FPMers live abroad.
We cannot be passive concerning this issue because it will cost us the elections, remember that in the parliament they voted against the right for Lebanese to vote from abroad bearing in mind that the Saudi money will flow with no barriers for them to bring people from abroad and hoping we won’t do the same.
FPM has to find a way in between for its supporters, something like a shared payment, for example the ticket cost be split 70% on FPM and 30% on the supporters, and I am sure that the party is aware of this big problem and is finding means to solve it. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Sayyan Benghazi For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

500 additional votes in a specific district will cost them $500,000. If they give me $100,000, I can get them an additional 1,000 votes in any district!
1,000 additional votes will cost them $1,000,000. For a million dollar, I can triple the number of votes to 3,000 in any district. Hell! For a million dollar, I will make dead people vote. Conclusion: It seems the loyalists are desperate. |
I dont know, and i dont think the loyalists care about paying money. KSA is backing them and they are willing to reach 1 Billion in order to win the elections.
And frankly im worried. | | | | | Registered Member

And frankly im worried. | and frankly we all should be worried and motivated for this elections.
Do you really think it is gonna be that easy to limit Hariri's power in the upcoming parliament/government???
Do you really think that KSA will allow saad, her son, to fall that easy?
the same goes for USA...
The upcoming elections is the hardest battle for FPM, and we should be ready for it | | | | | Registered Member

let's say that you would give tickets only to voters in battleground cazas :
+4000 for koura for a total of 50,000 electors
+4000 for Batroun for a total of 50,000 electors
+6000 for Beirut 1 for a total of 120,000 electors
+7000 for Zahleh for a total of 90,000 electors
+9000 for Metn for a total of 150,000 electors
= 30,000 votes that may tip the balance in 5 cazas
let's say that getting special prices for booking all the plane
will give an average ticket price of 333$ -
we will end up with a number around 10 million $
a very small amount of money compared to the importance of such elections | | | | | Registered Member

Guess who is in town Micho Mawad giving out free tickets from Australia to Lebanon, to anyone who is from Zgharta.
The thing that annoys me more is that i have friends who are extremly active in the FPM Australia, have gotten their hands on application forms and yet to circulate them to the media.
I know everyone knows and bla bla bla, but its nice to have some 'tangible' proof.
P.s Anyone know where i can get tickets from Sydney? I have heard about the stores in Lakemba giving them out but i dont know which one exactly | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

a very small amount of money compared to the importance of such elections | The way you are calculating things is right even though I guess you have two things wrong:
1st the number of people expected to come which you have forecasted is very big at least for koura and batroun because a 1000 people each is a fair number
2nd the average price per ticket is more than $333
- a regular ticket to the gulf is around $650
- ticket to the united states is around $1300
- as for Australia it’s around $1500
- as for Europe I have no idea
I might be not exact about the price tickets maybe our comrades living abroad can give us a better idea concerning the rates but still with any discount it will not reach an average of $333
a study is being made for every district that’s for sure and I’m certain that when the study is done the conclusion will be that we need to help out our comrades in diaspora | | | | | | | Tags | actions, aouniye, call, called, clientelism, diaspora, election, elections, expatriates, factor, flight, fpm, fpmers, free, gma or fpm, hariri, interest, issues, mind, offered, paris, phone, proofs, received, related, solid, tickets, votes | |
