Dear Mr. Patriarch!
What kind of a church do you want to excommunicate me from?
What kind of a church are you leading anyway?
Is it a church which don't have the right to say a word whenever it sees something wrong? Well Dear Mr. Patriarch I was told by our lord Jesus Christ to stand up for what is right: إشهدوا للحق
Is it a church where only the criminals and the thugs are welcomed in and the normal people don't have a place in it just for the simple reason of speaking their minds and tell their opinion?
Or maybe you want to be the head of a church which forgets its Martyrs (Bishop Khreish) and ally with their killers?
Dear Mr. Patriarch the church belongs to the people, the church is the people. You can enjoy your appointment as the head of the church for over 23 years now, but that doesn't mean you won the heart of the people, and that doesn't mean you won the heart of the church. You surpassed everything acceptable, way beyong the إسمعوا أقوالهم و لا تفعلوا أفعالهم
Regardless if you were to blame or not, one fact remains the same. Under your 23 years rule dear Mr. Patriarch, the Christians suffered the worst times in their history, this is what will be written about you. What have you done about it?
What have you done about the Christian militias which were fighting and killing each other in the first years of your appointment?
What have you done about the Chrsitian militias that turned to fight the Lebanese army under your eyes?
What have you dont about the Taef agreement that took away most of the Christians' rights in the government?
What have you done about the years of prosecution that the Lebanese Christians endured during the Syrian era?
What have you done to over a million christian immigrating away form Lebanon under your eyes?
Were you busy taking sides with one group against the others? Is that how a patriarch should behave as the head of his community? Or maybe you were busy receiving everyday tens of personalities, who used your historical Bkerke podium to throw all kinds of nonesense on our ears, to say the least. You allowed criminals, thugs, thieves, warlords and murderers to use our historical Bkerke to play their own dirty game.
Is that the church you want to excommunicate me from?
Well I don't belong to it anyway. A lot of your priests don't belong to it as well. I hear it everyday from them. It is not out of resepct to you that they are not revolting against you yet, but it is only out of respect to the history of our Maronite church. Everyday they are sending complaints to the Vatican, I wonder how long it will take still til you hear from them.
Our church is the church of justice, love and forgiveness, your church is the church of the thieves, criminals and warlords.
Our church is the church of unification, your church is the church of division.
I was all my life a proud maronite and I am still one, proud of my history, proud of my saints, proud of my historical leaders. You will not be the one to make me feel shame from belonging to my sect, I won't allow this to you, Dear Mr. Patriarch! | | | | | The Following 19 Users Say Thank You to GMA forever For This Useful Post: | abientot (26th February 2009), Anny (26th February 2009), Aouniyyeh (26th February 2009), BEAST (26th February 2009), FPM4EVER (26th February 2009), freedom4ever (26th February 2009), freelebanonn (26th February 2009), Jouj (26th February 2009), Libnene Qu7 (26th February 2009), Loubnan_Elhob (26th February 2009), manny70 (26th February 2009), oscard (26th February 2009), Qwiw (26th February 2009), Salome (26th February 2009), SamerTayyar (26th February 2009), Secular Lebanon (26th February 2009), sierra (26th February 2009), Venom (26th February 2009), †.) 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Bible of Matthew)
So if we have offended the Patriarch ( actually i dont see how) should he forgive us so His Heavenly Father also forgive him? or not? | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

It's the first time I wish I was a Maronite... to deserve the historical honor to be excommunicated by such a devil! | | | | | The Following 7 Users Say Thank You to Comrade Bassam For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

When we die, and arrive the Gate where St Peter is checking names, if he looks at me and see i was excommunicated by the socalled Patriarch Sfeir, and looks to Samir Geagea who actually has a "Recommendation Letter" from the "called Patriarch Sfeir", does Geagea has the opportunity to sit on the biggest cloud, with une vue panoramique, while i should go straight to hell, with all the Orange Room users? (most of them, few of them will have recom letter from some priests)
a very theological question! | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to ul-eco-aouniste For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

It seems that "Bechara the shepherd" or should I say " Richeulieu " thinks that he's still living in the middle ages and he also thinks that he can still burn people in the middle of public squares ( like Jeanne d'arc ) and sell some "furnished apartments" in heaven. Well this is 2009 and not 1600 and with god's help the FMP will become the group of "Musketeers" who will put an end to the dark ages and people like the new "Richeulieu" will find themselves disregarded like all the Black Army members following the French revolution.
I just heard that Zahra approved " Richeulieu " Statement...... I am not surprised , he's too narrow- minded to think otherwise. After all, thinking otherwise will make him contradict all his past on Barbara checkpoint and his master do approve burning people in the middle of public squares. this is a matter of character , you can never change it.
