Not to make assumptions, one has to think of such an attack, it's magnitude, it's geographical area, and who controls that area.

my school mate from ( zaher) family lost some cousins in that fight.

and no, i am not from JA3FAR family, bass i know their areas quiet well, and they are people of honor & dignity.

Problems between j3afra and Kobayat has been going on much prior to the syrian era, however, when the syrians came, the j3afra were being supported at times by syrian weapons. I'm not completely sure about their relationship with the syrians throughout the whole era.

1-bab al tebbaneh ( rpg thrown at them recently and on to the likes of ahdab came and abused the army and defended the agressors) & nothing happened.

so you don’t sound foolish. None of traditional Lebanese (Syrian) politics apply to this situation….The Jaafar family has their own “code of conduct.” Syrian, Lebanese, Christian, Muslims, Shi3a Sunni…does not matter.

"قبل ظهر اليوم الساعة 11,00 تعرضت آلية تابعة للجيش لكمين نصبه عدد من المسلحين عند مفرق بلدة تمنين التحتا، مما ادى الى استشهاد اربعة عسكريين واصابة ضابط بجروح.

Like any cartel, the mode of operation is similar across the globe. They have many people on the payroll, and those people are usually supportive by different means. Army/ISF/politicians/etc.

I would suspect that the j3afra have the above on their payroll.

Whenever there is drugs/money you can bet there are some politicians and some high rollers around.
