This man who was killed is a thief (biesro2 siyarat ), a criminal (matloub bi aktar mn 5 mouzakkarat 2atel) and God knows shou kamen.
I posted this article from Al-Akhbar just to show some people that the whole issue is personal and not political, if u understand what I mean.
I don't know if u know the criminals of ja3far family, but a thief and a killer, could be a liar too, and personally, I trust the army more than I trust a thief and a criminal. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Nayla For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

I know what I'm talking about as I'm from Kobeyate and a cousin of mine (officer in the army) led the counter attack...
I'm not saying those who attacked the army today are from the Ja3far family, I'm simply saying that, given their history, I would not be surprised... | this is a hitorical incident involving people of ja3far family. saying it is the ja3far family is unfair to many honorable j3afra that i personally know, among them brave lebanese soldiers and resistance members and martyrs. | | | | | Registered Member

As to the Ja3far tribe/clan/village/family, you are vehimently defending, please note that the when an entire community is harbouring , supporting and protecting criminals, The entire clan are deemed culprits until action is taken by that community to prove otherwise.
So far, the only action they have displayed is celebratory gunfire in the wake of the attack on the army.
I really hope the army crushes these criminals swiftly and with minimum casualties.
God Bless our Soldiers and Rest the souls of our fallen. | mr. man,
first of all i am not defending anyone.i am only against the collective punishment and of the idea that a national army is fighting a family.that sounds like the middle ages.dont you think?also am against an innocent member of a family being shot (by the army) because another member is a criminal.the army shouldnt have interferred in the first place and put itself in a mess.
you are responsible to tell us why on earth you think an entire family said to be up to 30,000 members is harbouring criminals.even if 29,999 mebers are harbouring a criminal,it is still wrong to hold the entire family responsible. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

no body talked about this , wala jeb siret el shi3a or the resistance , so just don't hide behind this
before the leb army went to bust criminals and thieves in britel , we heard some of HA supporters talking about britel being the homeland of many resistance elements w hek
ma3lesh , it's in the same time the home town of thieves , so if there's any resistants in britel they are excluded from this (unless they are from those wanted criminals)
the same thing applies to ja3far family
ma 7ada jeb siret el resistance , and you shouldn't do that also | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to orange infection For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

His father was arrested in 96 for drug trafficking where he should be spending the rest of his life in prison, but got out in less than a year, because of his connections with the Assad regime.
I agree with you that we shouldn't judge the whole for the crimes of a few, but for the whole to protect these few, then the whole are also liable.
Back in 1987 when the Ja3far clan attacked 3andkit and the atlbeh, the attack wasn't a mere few, they attacked in their thousands, so forgive me for my collective judgement, but it is the clan who has set the precendent, not the army. | | | | | Registered Member

guys can we plz refrain from turning this thread into a clannish discussion? no one's taking swipes at families, but our army, the lebanese army, has been attacked on lebanese soil and this is categorically unacceptable...that's the only thing we want to talk abt right now | | | | | Registered Member

the same thing applies to ja3far family
ma 7ada jeb siret el resistance , and you shouldn't do that also | min jeb siret el shi3a? and where am i hiding?
i only mentioned the resistance AND army to say that some individulas fo this family are honorbale, and deserve repect from everyone.
i have a problem with condemning people just beacuse of their family name. i don't accept jaafar family being bashed because it happened that those criminals are j3afra, and i have a problem with the calls of revenge against this family... and bringing out to light histories of crimes involving j3afra doesn't change my point of view.
the same applies for brital. i woudl'nt cheer any attack on britel "nahr el bared way" as long as there is one good person there. | | | | | Registered Member

Not to make assumptions, one has to think of such an attack, it's magnitude, it's geographical area, and who controls that area.
The army will have an answer as to who was behind this, hopefully soon. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

I only ask that the army be fair in treating all lebanese areas ,in the same way.
I respect the army a lot , bass i have some reservations lately.
and no, i am not from JA3FAR family, bass i know their areas quiet well, and they are people of honor & dignity. | | | | | | |
