since most of you dont know, my real name is DarkAngel Ja3far.

now here is the question, is there any proof that the Army Patrol was ambushed by the jaafar family other than the morons firing in the air in the jaafar neighberhood?

firing in the air proves one is a moron, it doesn't prove that the jaafars are behind the ambush. so how do you know the jaafars are the ones behind the attack on the army and how are you jumping to that conclusion? am i missing something?

A quick historical note on the Ja3far "family" (more like a militia)... In the summer of 1987, they attacked and killed army soldiers on leave in mountains near Kobeyate. This led to a 2 week "war" with use of mortar canons, etc. where dozens of soldiers "on leave" came up to Kobeyate and 3andket and ultimately defeated the "j3afra"... (GMA gave "special leave" to all soldiers from that region).
I know what I'm talking about as I'm from Kobeyate and a cousin of mine (officer in the army) led the counter attack...

I'm not saying those who attacked the army today are from the Ja3far family, I'm simply saying that, given their history, I would not be surprised...

this from the article you posted:

confirmed
ana mnel atelbeh , wich is the upper section of kobayat , the closest to the jerd and that happens to be on the road to baalbek
my father , who's an ex soldier , participated in the counter attack against j3afra , most of atelbeh ppl were in that fight since the occupied region of kobayat belonged to us and was closer to us

And this is not the first time..
Since when families are responsable of stopping criminals? if you condemn families of every single criminal you are condemining the whole lebanese people.
following your logic, the families of all LF memebers who fought the army hold reposability for not stopping their sons, the families of all naher bared terrorists should be accused too. donniyyeh the same. yala lets storm the houses of these families because they didn't stop their relatives from shooting at the army.
no way this will be another bared camp, no one will share your this war dance.
i hope that the army, in collaboration with jaafar family, will arrest the responsables of this crime, and ll other criminals hiding from justice, and give them the severe punishment they deserve.

i am not saying that the jaafar family are angels, they are behind most of the petty crimes in Lebanon, all the way from drug smuggling to car thefts. however, jumping to the conclusion that they are the ones behind this attack on the army could mean that the real people behind the ambush are left free to prepare another one.

the army has to move quickly and explore all possibilities. i personally cant help but to see similarities with the types of ambushes the US army is experiencing in iraq, despite not knowing all the details, and that path should also be investigated.

regardless of family history, each case and each incident must be dealt with individually and in isolation and not collectively.collective justice is jungle justice.if the army has done wrong and mistakenly killed an innocent member of the family, then an investigation must be launched and those who are at fault must take responsibility.likewise, whether its an individual or individuals within that family, anyone who is a criminal must be arrested.

and the question i would like to ask:why the lebanese army?is it the army's responsibility to arrest criminals?who deputized this task to the army away from the ISF?i cant imagine a national army fighting a family.its crazy!!!

yes army officers represent us-each and everyone.it is wrong to assault the army.two wrongs dont make a right.and Allah yer7am shuhada el jaish.with all these sympathetic statements, yet we must not be overcome by emotions and stop thinking right.after all this is a very local incident in our country.
Mehdi Soldier

When arrests are being made, and military confrontations are expected, armies are called in. Its just the way it is, wherever you are in the world.

As to the Ja3far tribe/clan/village/family, you are vehimently defending, please note that the when an entire community is harbouring , supporting and protecting criminals, The entire clan are deemed culprits until action is taken by that community to prove otherwise.

So far, the only action they have displayed is celebratory gunfire in the wake of the attack on the army.

I really hope the army crushes these criminals swiftly and with minimum casualties.

God Bless our Soldiers and Rest the souls of our fallen.
