The Tribunal is in dilemma itself ever since Melis took charge and it will hard to convince observers about their coming accusations regardless whether they are justified or not! gaining trust back is one of the hardest thing facing this court and the release of the officers was a step in that direction. Accusation of HA will have a fluidic view where what appears to be wrongful accusation to you, HA and FPM, will look crystal clear judgement by others, 14 febers.
FPM, should consider the accusations based on their merits not emotions! Convincing the Christian street, at least half of it, will be a taunting task for FPm given the fact that its media and propaganda machine can't compete with that of 14febers. My prediction in case these allegations materialized FPM will be on the defense and 14 febers will not allow this chance to pass them by without erroding the FPM popular base.

As cruel as it may sound are the christians worse or better off after Hariri's death?
If better, it does them no good to take the high moral ground. If they can reconcile with the one that caused them the most damage, the sky is the limit of what they are capable of. The art of survival dictates that they should condemn the murder forcefully one day and forget all about it the next. Things are done this way in Lebanon for a reason.
How could HA help the FPM in facing the normal christian street? The same way they face the abnormal one. Explain the consequences of all alternatives and let them choose what is in their favour. You coould always count on their wisdom to act unwisely.

I agree with you 100% but is it acceptable that HA or any party kill hariri or anyone else in lebanon? The war is over since 90's we cant just let this happen every time someone doesn't like the politics of someone else eventhough its hariri

I didn't say our future. We will wait for the investigation but doesn't mean we cannot produce a government or look after the people. I am not saying just to STOP everything for this tribunal.

I wasn't particularly referring to you but to the country in general which is indeed treating the tribunal as sort of a tipping point.

I don't really give two craps who killed Hariri.

After Hariri death, the West has been trying to instigate civil war.

They tried to corner HA in 2005 and The MOU aborted that plan.
Then they tried the July War and failed again.
They tried May 5, 2008 and failed again.
The tribunal last resort?

Dude, eventhough you don't care about hariri I do care about George Hawi. as I said its not acceptable that these kind of killings are still happening in lebanon even if they differ in politics than you. Think properly dont let your emotions take hold of u. We know who is hariri and what he has done, ok!!
