What if not enough christians applied for the position ?

Or, what if enough christians applied but not enough succeeded in the exams ?

Should they still take them just for the sake of equality ?

I'm talkin in general here, not only in this case.

Mr.The Jade,Especially in this case there is something you missed.

* Did you know they postponed the exam for 4 days to give a course for their supporters(Future supporters which included exactly what came in the exam after). So all future supporters passed the exam and guess that there is a certain categories contain all the winners as there is more than 150 Muslims winner and only 17 Christians winner.

What do you think that?Just to see what FPM fights.

My opinion that in general the most qualified must get the job not according to his category.But what we face here is pure corruption and cheating not something else.

someone should build on this and start pushing for an action and not just talks.
i am sure that MAR Nesrallah Sfier will not move a finger, but i hope that at least he will be exposed to the still believe that he is a good guy

to answer your question, for sure they should not!!

the only standard should be the qualification of the person, but the problem that in this case it was not respected at all and in contrast, the only two qualifying standards were political affiliation and relegion of the people applying,

and this is the problem

NNA - Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir, headed the Sunday mass at Bkerki. The mass was attended by a multitude of believers and social factions.

After the sermon, Sfeir tapped on the topic of employee-hiring at Beirut Municipality. The Patriarch cautioned the said Municipality officials to be sensitive towards the sectarian nature of the country, and thus to hire Municipality employees bearing in mind that their decisions must include all sects and members of the Lebanese community.
