Default Cedarsisland - 26th January 2009

Covering an area of 7, 5 squared kilometers in the touristic area of Damour, Lebanon, the Cedar Island lends itself as a luxurious residential, commercial, and touristic project. In addition to its gentle location on the Mediterranean Sea, Damour is situated 18 Km from Beirut International Airport south of Beirut. Its geographical location along the Lebanese cost allows it to play a vital role in attracting tourists and VIP residents looking for an exotic lifestyle or escaping from the city

this project looks promising but it kinda reminds me of all the
attention and media coverage the Sannine project got which never
saw light. I honestly think that many politicians will put their
hands on this project and eventually fail it

I am also against it. It is not about environment who cares !
It is just that the 10452 Km2 slogan may be affected !

This will be a disaster for Lebanon. Can you imagine how many "kassaret" will be in business to fill in the sea, not to mention the numerous studies that Lebanon is on the brink of a major earthquake in the future.

Whoever came up with this brilliant idea must be sent to jail immediately and where are our ministers and MPs? Where is FPM?! How can we remain silent on this? It's a catastrophe in the making

This is to tell you that no one will listen to us. They would listen to whoever fills their pockets.

and i have the exclusive rights for beshoushi , if they called it boushoushiland , my bank will be happy

jokes by side, i think it the worst idea to have such a project in lebanon ,,, as we say baddoun yerkabou 3al dabo3 w mesh 3erfin kif !
al 7assoud la yasoud , 3ayn el 7asoud tebla bel 3ama

This is the most silliest project of the century, as if the environment in Lebanon is on it's best and the pollution in the Mediterranean is not enough.
