Default Campaign against GMA and the FPM reaches new heights! - 30th August 2009

One can't help but notice that virtually every article on Naharnet (Harriri propaganda site) is about GMA and the FPM. Nowlebanon (the other propaganda site) is nearly the same, all their newspapers (including Daily Star) and the radio and TV talk non-stop about GMA and the FPM. Lebanon's number 1 English Yellow pen for hire, Michael Young keeps claiming GMA and the FPM are finished, yet nearly every article he writes is about GMA.

Those behind 14 March really want you to believe that GMA is the reason why the government isn't being formed.

The question is, how many FPMers are falling for this latest campaign??

they are not targetting FPMers, they are targetting independents and their own followers.

question is, what's FPM doing to counter the propaganda?

they have established a system that keeps spreading rumors and lies 24/7; they no longer need to babysit it, it is a self sufficient and stand alone system; it includes ministers, deputies, 'independents', newspapers, tv stations, news websites, televisions and religious institutions.

FPM in the meanwhile is still relying on a abu-melhim based strategy.

it doesn't take a genious to figure out the end result.

No DA, they are targeting FPMers. They want to create a problem between GMA and FPMers. I'll try to get you one of these articles that i read few days ago, the author was asking about FPMers position regarding Bassil's issue, and saying that GMA cares about Bassil only and doesn't give a role for other leaders.

IMO, FPMers are much smarter than being fooled by such articles, especially if they're coming from almoustaqbal newspaper, or LF website.

li bado yesma3 shou bye7ko hol, allah ma3o we don't want weak brains in FPM.

i prefer one strong,educated,smart FPMer to 100000 weak,stupid ones
when the Syrians were occupying Lebanon the group moving on the ground or traveling to Paris was so small and yet they managed to do the job efficiently because they were dedicated and believed in the cause
I have stopped watching future and co news since a long time after they proved to be liars as for the websites i don't give a S...
the newspapers were efficient when targeting the Tantet in ashrafieh, but again these tantet got Nayla elected and now they are against Nayla because her mother in law wears a scarf...
let them BARK THE CARAVANE WILL KEEP ROLLING

i disagree. it is getting exponentially hard to influence FPMers, as the ones remaining have a higher threshold for buying the cr@p that has been parading in the media.

the problem F14 is having now is to convince their own followers that jubran bassil is the obstacle preventing the formation of the government; they cannot come out to the open saying that even without jubran bassil we'll still have plenty of problems forming the government.

as to the weak brains, i would have agreed with your theory, but unfortunately a vote coming from a weak brain still counts the same as one coming from a genius, and guess what? weak brains are the majority, by far.
you cannot invoke any change if you become an elitist party, you'll still need the popular support, and in order to get it, you are also forced to find and design ways to influence the masses.

I am not a FPMer but i supported FPM in the last few years and still supporting it. However, i started to loose hope in a modern party. In addition issues like the gebran bassil ministry thing makes you wonder about many thing.

The government formation is an issue of "wealth distribution" and it's not postponed beacause of FPM. After this government formation will will understand what was really happening.

regards,

Attack is the best way of defense, this is Hariri's strategy. Who is the weakest link to attack? The divided Christian community.

They tried it on the shiites, it didn't work, so they run away and hide their failure in forming a government by attacking us.

Once GMA dreams about the chair of the president, once GMA dreams about making his son in law a minister, once GMA dreams about sa7en fattoush men al jnayne. As long as it is working on the naive Lebanese people, they are gonna carry on with it.

The propaganda is rampant yet reassuring to see for the simple reason that it testifies to GMA's political clout. Its human instinct to want to "bring the big man down". The loyalist media love to emphasize how GMA's popularity decreased yet target him no less these days. If he's no longer popular, why's the spotlight still shining in his face?
