Admitting a genocide is not a matter of apologizing only...
As per the international law and UN laws, there are some compensations...
Armenians demand:
- Recognition
- Compensation. The price of all the blood of our martyrs, the properties that Armenians had ( all stolen and destroyed), moral loss etc etc... ( Same way Germany paid for Israel)
- Lands. Armenia as per Treaty of Sevre (signed on August 1920) Armenia is 160 000 km2, now currently Armenia is 30 000 km2, the rest is occupied. The treaty was signed by both USA President and Turkey.
The main reasons for Turkey not recognizing its past is their pride and the land issue...
Thank you!!
