لفتت الناطقة بإسم القوات الدولية العاملة في جنوب لبنان (يونيفيل) ياسمينا بوزيان أن القوات الدولية والجيس اللبناني أنزلا قوات إضافية على الأرض في منطقة إطلاق الصواريخ لتفادي تدهور الأوضاع سوءا في الجنوب.
وأكدت أن قوات الـ"يونيفيل" تقوم بإجراء اتصالات سريعة مع الجانبية اللبناني والاسرائيلي لتفادي تصاعد الأزمة.
وأشارت بوزيان الى أن الوضع حتى اللحظة ما زال تحت السيطرة.

lol. Israel is threatening us, especially the Opposition.

They are saying to the Opposition: "Form the government or this is the price you will pay"

But in any sense. Either way, Israel is happy. No government, means we are polarised to confront their threat. And secondly, if a government were to be formed, they are hoping (with the help of US/Saudi Arabia/Egypt/France and Mars), that it would be under their conditions - however and whatever it takes to deliver the desired political outcome for them.

Only a government of true national unity, can spare both scenarios. But with traitors like Hariri and his cronies, they are playing directly into Israel's hands. Deliberately, by foreign orders.

الجيش الاسرائيلي يشكو لبنان الى "اليونيفل" ويحمّل الحكومة اللبنانية مسؤولية اطلاق الصواريخ على اسرائيل

قدّم الجيش الاسرائيلي شكوى رسمية الى قوة الأمم المتحدة الموقتة في لبنان ردا على اطلاق صواريخ على شمال اسرائيل. وذكرت وسائل الاعلام الاسرائيلية أن من المتوقّع أن يصل ممثلون عن اليونيفيل الى المنطقة المستهدفة وتنضم للتحقيق في الحادث.
وحمّل الجيش الاسرائيلي في شكواه الحكومة اللبنانية مسؤوليّة ما حصل مشيرًا الى أنه "بقدر ما يعنينا الأمر، فإن الحكومة اللبنانية هي المسؤولة عن منع اي اطلاق نار من اراضيها باتجاه إسرائيل".

اليونيفيل":اطلاق صاروخين من القليلة واسرائيل قصفت المنطقة
نشرنا قوات إضافية ونحث الجانبين على ضبط النفس وفتحنا تحقيقا فوريا

وطنية- أفاد بيان صادر عن "اليونيفل" عصر اليوم، أنه "وفقا لتقارير أولية أطلق، على الأقل، صاروخان من منطقة القليلة حوالى الساعة 3,45 وسقطا شمال إسرائيل في منطقة تقع شمال نهاريا ورد الجيش الاسرائيلي بقذائف مدفعية استهدفت المنطقة التي انطلقت منها الصواريخ".
اضاف البيان: "توقف القصف منذ وقت قصير (قرابة الخامسة الاربعا) ولم تبلغ "اليونيفيل" عن اصابات بالارواح لدى الجانبين، وهي على اتصال معهما وتحثهما على ضبط النفس والحفاظ على وقف الأعمال العدائية والامتناع عن القيام بأي خطوات قد تؤدي الى تصعيد إضافي".

وختم البيان:" ان اليونيفيل، وبالتنسيق مع الجيش اللبناني، نشرت قوات إضافية في المنطقة لمنع التصعيد وقد فتحت تحقيقا فوريا بالحادثة".

it is funny reading some of the accusations and counter accusations in this thread... Palestinians backed by Hariri did it, no Hizbullah did it.
REGARDLESS, if this escalates, we are all in deep sh*t!

I don't care who did it, someone should be held responsible! and it is the responsibility of whoever is in charge in the south, be in the Lebanese Army, Hizbullah or the Unifel!
It is not "normal" for militiamen to move with rocket launchers between villages and use them to launch rockets on another country. It is jut NOT NORMAL! if they're coming from the camps, how did they take them out? dont we have checkpoints!?!? or are there tunnels?? if they weren't in the camps, how can there be such heavy artillery in an area supposedly secured by the Lebanese Army and the resistance and Unifel. Something is wrong, and someone should be held responsible!

Can anyone please post the video aired on New TV few month ago showing those preparing some of the previously fired missiles and then fixing them on those wooden plates?

Israel is threatening the care-taker government, which is still governing. How are you polarized to confront Israel? Since it is HA that will do the confronting and it is not polarized. What you are saying could be a reason why HA fired the rockets, to scare people into a national unity government on their terms.
